I've been watching bits and pieces of the Jerry Lewis telethon for muscular dystrophy.  Interspersed have also been brief segments requesting donations for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.  It was even noted that the MDA was providing $1 million in emergency funds for the hurricane victims.

It's just good to see the unification efforts put forth during Jerry's annual Labor Day telethon.
