Since it is becoming painfully clear that some men have no impulse control and are basically running of the limbic portion of their brains
These women were not civilians but fellow soldiers. Disgusting!
I was not a fan of seeing military guys from stories I had heard before I saw this documentary. Now, not a freaking chance in hell.
And before the brigade of "not all military guys" are assholes/abusers/rapists, shout forth, let me say that I get that, but like you wise hobbyists who avoid unreviewed ladies like they have a case of ebola, I am doing the very same thing.
If I am criticized for not wanting to see military guys and lumping them all into one basket, my question to the hobbyist is, why do "you" not regularly visit unreviewed ladies and encourage others to not bother either?
There are as many reliable well skilled providers that do not want reviews as there are nice down home respectable military guys.
At the end of the documentary a law suit filed in 2011 for a group of the women was dismissed and this was said I quote "rape is an occupational hazard of military service", nice and good to know and I am sure recruiters are telling this to the women and men who walk in wanting some unbiased info on joining the military in the US of A.
Some might say rape is an occupational hazard of being a hooker too.

1. I see the unreviewed
2. Not all hobbyists are swayed bye the "TER only" shit
3. Women shouldn't be in the military except as care givers lol
4. Rapists should be castrated
I agree on the front line. then let them be the lawyers and surgeons etc and send the guys out to fight. Caregivers is so 1900's OSP, but then again aren't you older than Methuselah, just kidding love.
We create monsters in our military.
We have been doing it since WW1.
The concept of taking away individuality is strong in boot camp.
What do you expect from brainless masses?
are making this some sort of a tit-for-tat thing...
If you don't want to see someone of a particular race, ethnicity, occupation for the reasons best known to you, however legit or stupid the reasons might be, that is entirely up to you...No one cares, and no mature hobbyist is going to give you flak for it.
Lot of rape happens in the military. Its a well known fact. But you are making a jump in logic when you are drawing a parallel as to why we guys don't see unreviewed women..
Most of us don't see them because we just don't want to waste our money or get arrested - nothing else, and its not for any philosophical or psychological reasons, while your reason for not seeing the military guys seems to border on that category...
The point is I knew I was going to get the broad brush thing but so do many of you guys paint with a broad brush with your choices of not seeing unreviewed ladies.
We ladies all get flack for who we will not see whether it be fat guys, old guys young guys black guys you name it, but when it comes to the guys you can have your choices and it is fine. I would love it if the same principles were used for us. But I am thinking hell would freeze over before that happens.
And beside you not wanting LE or being ripped off, I don;t particularly want to be assaulted. And the parallel here is not all unreviewed ladies are LE or rip offs as not all military guys are rapists.
In short, you lessen your chances of a bad time and so do I.
They're rock solid citizens LOL
Talk about painting with a broad brush.
Hey...do what you need to do...plenty of hookers see it completely 100% opposite of your POV. And offer discounts to military.
Or you could get involved with some serious dregs...cue lungman ![]()

but her reasoning and comparison is flawed.
Just like the thread above by preppies cousin....some hookers don't want to deal with U30 or U40 guys.
They don't need a reason...nor do I care. I don't see fat, old and ugly...and I don't need to explain myself either.
But not everyone in any bucket should be dumped with all the others.
That's just plain old bigotry.
That paint all unreviewed ladies as rip offs and B&S.
Good for the hookers who will see military, hey I see obese guys where some have a weight restriction.
I was simply flabbergasted by it. Stunned silent. Angered to the very pit of my soul. A seething, raging anger that is so very rare and overwhelming for me that I want to shower after I feel it.
Makes you realize how far we have yet to go as a society-- no-- as a species.
The other time I feel this way is when I read the comments on any article about the Slut Walks.
I get it.
And you've gotta do what you've gotta do
Maybe just maybe women don't belong in the military. This never happened until political correctness jammed women into roles they aren't necessarily suited for. What's next? Women on subs? In SOG's? Oh. Ok. NVM. OP worse than flawed.
Just curious. Where was this televised? NPR? Just asking. And I bet the OP has never served a day.....

Special Ops Groups. Rangers. Delta Force. Green Berets etc. NVM is an acronym for 'never mind.
on raping their colleagues? We're not talking about our 'enemies' here. Or are we?
Women are just as suited to the military as men. Many women excel in the military.
I've never served a day. But I don't need to go through boot camp and wear a uniform to know that that, american soldiers raping other american soldiers, and then the military brass defaulting to the sanctity of military justice to dismiss the source of the problem as 'women being where they shouldn't be', is very wrong.
Rape is not an occupational hazard in the military. For women, rape is a hazard of being alive. The solution to dealing with rape in civilian life is not perfect. But, at least most people in industrialized western countries have evolved past the idea that women are raped because we did something to provoke that behavior.
Join us. The air up here is fine
And what roles are women in the military not suited for? A surgeon, a jag lawyer, in IT, in computers, in the medical field, in communications??????
And why not women on subs? Are the sailors that damaged that they can't control, themselves? What freaking century do you belong to? I suppose you don't want the women folk voting too. Don't worry about what TV station it was on, your cave doesn't have netflix.
Now you're showing your ignorance. I'd say service in a confined space for 6 months at a m-f ratio of say 10-1 invited trouble. And how about SOG? Surely women fit in well there right? You didn't serve? I'm shocked. But at least as usual you have all the answers. I've never slammed you on your repeated idiot posts but this one takes the cake. At least as usual you revert to personal insults not answering a serious question. So typical of man haters. At least I know where Gaul is. Genius.

And I as a woman spoke out of turn. Deal with it you baby. What you think that women who wear, I don't know, anything but a burka are asking for it and we are the downfall of all mankind because idiots like you can't control your self?
What was you're serious question? All you did was piss on the movie, have you even seen it? I doubt it because you asked what channel it was on. So before you accuse me of going off half cocked, shut your big maw and watch it or will it bring back memories of your exploits?
And the tired old man hater label, that is because you have nothing more intelligent to say. So go with it you old coot, and yearn for the 1800's.
Sorry. I meant PBS. Or was it another military hating network? That would I guess be pretty much any of them.

And a high ranking official saw the movie and was horrified and removed the commanding officers from being able to sweep that shit under the carpet. And the reasons they did were to save their own careers and nothing else. Watch the film, or might it be too close to home for you
"A high ranking official?" Anonymously I bet. Just like you. I bet he knows where Gaul was.
On April 14th 2012, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta watched this film. Two days later, he took the decision to prosecute away from unit commanders. Clear enough for you? Or should I carve it into a stone tablet for you?
and grief at what these women and some men had to endure and the fact that this "great" country allows it and had the gaul to say that rape was an occupational hazard.
"Gaul?" What's Europe got to do with this? Seriously if you researched what constitutes 'rape' for politically motivated tv you might be surprised. Get off your lazy ass and do some deeper digging than believing everything you're spoon fed by a biased agenda driven media.
I know what rape is you idiot. Do you think holding a woman down who is pleading for you to stop and possibly backhanding her and shoving your dick in her ass lovemaking?
It was not politically motivated tv, it was a movie and military rape of it's women is not new, but hidden until recently.
You are the only ingrate that has little to no sympathy for these people and it is men to, or will that make a difference for you?
A movie haha was it on A/E or Oprah's network. Go back to waiting for your phone to ring which of course it never does. Oh the GAUL of it!

For the last time, it was a movie and not on a TV channel. Go back to paying women to deal with you. Oh and how quaint she thinks she can hear my phone.
his is only one out of hundreds of easily accessible links on the subject.
I suggest you take your own advice and dig deeper.
Of course I have no clue. I served and don't hate the opposite sex. I bet your phone rings incessantly as well. Not.
Here and there was okay, right? And you don't hate the opposite sex as long as they are where you think they should be? Hmm maybe the rape was to send these silly women a message, stay out of the testosterone pit or look what you get.
'Policymic?' Great source thanks. What's next? Daily kos? I'm done with you man haters. Think I'll head to Gall for vacay. I bet you served though? No? I'm shocked.
We don't agree with you and now we are man haters. Maybe you are on to something, I do hate men who rape, so I guess I hate you. So you served, big freaking deal, I have more respect for the guy who picks up my garbage than you. He is more of a man than you could ever dream of being.
How about heading to Afghanistan for your vacay, I hear they need more women haters, So pop on that nifty little uniform and goose step your way to Kabul.
How about we keep this even handed and I'll throw in some fox new for you...lol....
Nope. Never served in the military. Man-haters aren't allowed.
"Great country?" Oh good at least now you're bashing America. Figures. I guess it was Gaul who saved Europe from Hitler and Asia from Tojo right. You DO know who hitler was right? You can google Tojo.
Take a look at rape and sexual assault statistics from colleges and universities sometime. Five minutes on Google and, using the same reasoning you have for not seeing military men, you should also exclude anyone who’s been to college.
Since it is becoming painfully clear that some men have no impulse control and are basically running of the limbic portion of their brains
Unfortunately this has happened in the three units that I've been with. The biggest and best thing to do is yell scream and kick before during and after it occurs so anyone and everyone can help. If a rape occurs call the police immediately. People in the military are human too and humans are idiots by nature. It's a horrible world out there and im sorry to say it will never get better. I would love to say that in the military things are like they are supposed to be. Legal and formal. It's not. In fact illegal activity is easier to cover up it seems. To the providers who see military guys screen them to the utmost of your ability as you would anyone else because as I stated before we are humans that have mental and physical flaws that aren't readily visible because everyone thinks we are all heroes and brave and honorable. It makes me sick. I'm sorry to take up thread space by venting but I just got very angry all of a sudden thinking about the topic.
Who said it was bullshit? You show your true colors with your insults as you can't engage. There's rape EVERYWHERE. If you take out the BS 'rape' stats that would in my world constitute workplace harassment the rate of rape in the military is approximate to the 'real world.' But you have all the answers since you never served, won't see those who do and don't realize Gaul is a place. Keep it up. You're solidifying your role here on this board. Beyond any doubt.
I'm the moron? Lol look up Gaul. You might be shocked. Might be.
like a life preserver. That's all you have so far. I am trading insult with insult, what you can't keep up? But you served and are a man, gosh darn it!
Why so pissed off I won't see soldiers? You won't see ugly hookers or will you?
And my role on an anonymous fuck board is not that important to me like it obviously is to you. What the wife given up on her failing soldier? Hey you could always force yourself on her to teach her who's boss?
Not shoved under the rug by a commanding officer who is afraid of ruining his career because of a man who serve under his command is a rapist and that would reflect badly on him.
Soooo I'm not really sure if there's a real discussion here anymore, or if you guys are just insulting each other, but I'd like to throw in my opinion anyway.
I served six years in the Navy and was never raped, nor did I know of anyone who was. At all three of my commands (California, Hawaii, Japan), we had constant and mandatory sexual harassment and sexual assault prevention training. I'm not saying that rape and assault never happen in the military, because obviously they do, but I would like to point out that, 1: not all rape or assault is carried out by men, and 2: as someone previously stated, the military's statistics for both rape and assault are very comparable to other organizations, such as any college.
The real problem does not stem from losing your identity or whatever garbage you think happens during bootcamp; the real problem is alcohol. This is a long-standing and serious problem that will never go away. There is an ongoing attempt to create a responsible drinking culture, but it's incredibly difficult to change the deeply ingrained social norms and general culture of military life. Deployments around the world will always hold the allure of hookers and booze, and, the assholes who abuse those two things notwithstanding, there's no reason they should be banned or looked down on.
Yes, sometimes a high ranking officer attempts to sweep something under the rug, but rest assured--word gets out eventually. There are a million different ways people who are assaulted and/or raped can report it, so it's not like they're powerless to tell someone or do something about it. I would jump at the chance to escort any military member, as they possess many qualities that civilian men do not (don't get mad civvies, the opposite is also true).
Before you decided that all military men are rapists, make sure you see/read/hear the whole story.
