This post was started last night when the entire board shut-down for a considerable time.  I had not seen that happen before and was just making a comment about it.

Healthy debates are not a bad thing and I do not hold any grudges.

If you believe healthy debates are a good thing , why do you support boycotts when you don't agree
with the other view ?

I know this is a hot button topic. But aren't most of us complaining about Congress not tolerating other points of views, subsequently, not solving problems? Let's not be the same way. Swing is one of the only civvie women on here and adds A LOT to this board. Just because you don't agree with her position doesn't mean you should attack her as a person. Lighten up... it's not like we're talking about pussy hair - lol

She claimed moral superiority and took shots at 4 hobbyists by name and a provider she has never met nor spoken to and judged all of us. Several guys from Melissa's (the lady who posted the ad with agun) area (Minesota) came forth to say she is well respected, a great provider and the ad caused no controversy up there. The last thing any of us on a p4p fk board should be doing is judging ANYONE else's morality. Last night both Curly and Crazy had the decency to admit they were wrong about one thing or another in that post. It would be nice to hear Swing step up and do the same thing.

I have not been able to log-on for a couple of days and was SHOCKED to come back and read this.  

Let's recap what happened the other night:
1.The original post included the ad and asked if anyone would have a problem with it.

2. I responded that I would not see the provider in question for the same reason I will not frequent companies whose views are contradictory to my personal beliefs.  There was no attack on Melissa or anyone else.

3.YOU posted that every business will do something that is contradictory and if I do not boycott them all, I am a hypocrite.  You also wrote another post questioning my political beliefs.
Vern posted that I would have to avoid paying taxes for that to be 100% true.
Curly said he doesn't like jobs going to India.
Heather asked about the "working Poor".

4.I responded to all by further explaining my social and political beliefs in more than one post.  Again, not saying anything negative about Melissa or anyone else.

5.  You however felt the need to post: "living wage, health care, vacation"  "I am sure swing looks into all those businesses and ther practices before spending one penny in any of these evil establishments.  Yeah Right."

6. Since ALL of you questioned my committment and integrity, I fired back and asked what any of you felt passionate about?  What you do about it?  Or do all of you sit on your apathethic asses?

So I post my opinion to a post that does not attack ANYONE, you act like a MASSIVE jerk and I am wrong for firing it back to you??

SCREW YOU!!!  You either like to stir up drama or have a problem with reading comprehension.  I truly hope you look back to this and see my reponse and respond in some other asinide way.  I am happy to hand your ass back to you all fucking day.

Boycotting your self  from cigarettes  is good for your mental and physical well being . :-D

 Everyone in America has a right to express their opinion , whether we agree or disagree makes no difference .
Boycotts bring  free advertising and new customers from the other side of every issue .
