A thread on the second page got me thinking.

Someone asked about how many favorites they had collected in their TER database. He had like 500 IIRC. Some others had 4 or 12 or whatever.

That made me wonder about how many different providers hobbyists like to see. I wondered about actual numbers, but also about the attitudes behind the numbers.

In other words, do the hobbyists out there prefer to visit the same provider over and over again, building a relationship as it were? I suppose time spent together could get better and better as likes and dislikes are established and greater trust and communication is established.

It also might be safer, considering the risks (LE, STD, RO) in meeting new providers (though careful preparation certainly cuts down on the risk).

OTOH - I already have a wife. I certainly don't need another one. So there is a great appeal to meeting new people. There is something about the first time a girl slips her hand ... well ... you know.

There are so many factors to consider: are you married or single. I wonder if single hobbyists prefer to have fewer providers in their metaphoric rolodex while the married play the field. I wonder if it matters how often one indulges? In other words, if you only indulge three times a year, maybe it is cool to have a certain provider to call on. It certainly increases the odds you'll have a good time and there is something to be said for the safety and security and familiarity. If you hobby a lot, maybe you need more providers to see.

There is a lot there, I know. I'm just wondering what people think - maybe take it on another tangent.

One at the time, preferred. Just started in this adventure and hit a home run with my first lady. She is a beautiful twenty something and has such a great attitude. Studied this hobby for almost a year before I took the leap. Plan to stay with this lady as a regular once to twice a month. The reason is she sees a small number of clients and for me this is a big plus. I think she is telling the thruth because she charges more than most and most of you guys are not willing to pay a premium. You can't shop at Wal-Mart and expect to find Rolex watches.I am glad to pay a premium knowing she is not with many clients, therefor reducing the risk of all kind of things but mostly STDs. I know it's not fail safe but I feel more comfortable. Also,I have always valued loyaty in my business life. I do plan on venturing out this month because my regular is unavailable but I don't plan to do that on a regular basis. You asked my .02 oh yea, for your demographics 55 y/o White/Div. Then I will visit her more than once.  I am on an immediate course for return visits to a couple of providers that I have seen, I am over-looking some interesting new faces as a result.  
    Boy, I wish that weeks were 10 days long, with us having to work only five of them - of course, and 72 hours long.  I would be in hobby heaven.  So many choices, too little time.

fyi, I got my count so high because every time I did a search  with my personal parameters and found a hit  I'd just add it.  A couple, I confess, I've added because I like reading about her nasty activities in which and with whom I will never indulge. (I started to throw names in here, but decided discretion is better).  And when I find a "hit" I also go to that provider's most prolific reviewer's other reviews and check out whoever that reviewer rated higher than the one I was currently researching. You'll be amazed how fast numbers grow this way! Statistically,  I indulge, on average, about twice a month, so I'll never get to more than 10% of current favorites in my search for an ATF. One example of a typical hour's search left me having to choose from among Selena, Mink/Jade, Janet, Sarah, Symphony, Cassie Sin, Maggie, Linda, Stacey, Jessy, Holly Sampson,  Barbe/Vicki, Chandra, Holly -- and more!!! so, which of these beauties do I dare drop from my list? Although I am trying to prioritize now because it is getting unmanageable. I cut two dozen options out recently -- just to stay under 500!  And finally, regarding STD's -- my research tells me that repeat visits with the same provider are exactly as dangerous as the same number of visits with different providers --  dependent on activities, precautions and the provider's CURRENT status, so when you visit the same girl after a six month hiatus, it's statistically virtually equivalent to visiting a new provider.  Unless of course she truly is greatly limiting her other contacts -- and activities. An article of faith I have found it VERY difficult to accept.

Dining where you dunk won't save you from STDs or your other fears. Value is not in HOW MUCH, but in the quality of the experience. Your XXXX expeience is likely no more than the person who pays XX.5. So while your wallet and temperment may tolerate higher rates, it mostly in your mind friend. Whether your provider dates a little or a lot, her value is not between her legs or in anything that she does physically to you, it's in your mind. She can become 'infected' by ONE person; your argument doesn't necessarily follow that higher number means more risk. Risk comes into the nature of behavior, not numbers. Just because she may act demure and reserved with you, doesn't mean she get it 'raw dog' in her civilian life or has porn star dreams. My .02

So far, no repeats.  My SO limits my time away, so if I repeat, the lady must be EXTRA special.  Plus, my community has an abundance of top quality choices, and I haven't made my way through my list yet.  There are 3 or 4 left on my to-do list that have the possibility of making everything I just said incorrect.  Time will tell.
