None unless I get to know her for a couple of years and then only if she asks. So, maybe about 50% of 10% if she's a real standup person and not a fly-by-nighter. Tis a slippery slope for any of us and providers too. Share too much personal info and it might come back to haunt you. Providers get made promises all the time when the pillow talk is in high gear. They also hear lots of promises that never happen. Fill-in the blanks to this scenario any way you wish, because it is almost always a bad ending.

I don't have the frequency that some of you might but I do tend to return to a rotation of favorite ladies.  I guess I do share quite a bit about the rest of my life...  it's clearly a balance with what the lady reveals to me.  My #1 Fav, real names for 3 years, but while we know each other's lives pretty much...  I don't think we're "close".  No matter how great things are between the sheets, we are under no illusion that it will lead to anything more.  I think the knowledge allows us to converse & peek into each other's worlds.  But then, you might not like what you see...  life choices that did not work out.  I might even wonder what they would think flipping the tables.
Be careful what you wish for.

It is always the safest to keep your personal life to yourself, but when under the influence of hormones and such, and especailly if some wine is involved, it can be very difficult.

Fortunately I've never experienced any problems, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.

It's definately something to be concerned with.

And, I don't talk about my problems. I see a lady for pure pleasure. I'm not needing to feel she understands me, or accepts me.

Unlike in the civie world were relationships are akin to Shangri la.
Relationships are tough. Start adding anything, kids, dogs, mother in laws, whatever... past the original two people and it becomes quantum physics. There are times when I catch the bug but then I realize that I have all heard it before, felt it before and done it before. Some may argue that I have simply just not found "the one" I must say the thought is great but it only supports my premis that dreams are usually better than reality.

Just an old, ugly, fat fuck with an opinion.

and describe everything in explicit detail from that point on, ending with what I had for lunch that day.

Then I wake her up, and we fuck.

Not in a position to be hurt by anything I tell a lady, but have no desire to weigh interludes down with my baggage, so I leave it home. If information is offered to me, I accept, but do not inquire beyond that which is offered. Back & forth is OK as long as it's light, willing and not pried.

After meeting a few times I almsot slip and tell something personal then I have to cover it up. Hard to keep the stories straight. However I am nervous about revealing too much. One service owner told a regular what I do for a living. It piissed me off. I don't give any info about specifics and just brush off questions. I usually book longer appts. and conversatuion fills in the gaps so it is hard to always be on guard. Hour appts don't leave much time for talking but 2 hr and up do. Maybe I should keep the time down and start over with some new ladies.

I have gotten too personal with a few of them. My main problem is that when I get to know a provider and see all her personal problems and baggage, it takes away from the fantasy. Unfortunately I have less desire to see them when this happens, so I guess I am a little too open sometimes. Dont get me wrong, I am not dillusional and I certainly dont want or expect anything other than what I came for. So it has been good and bad. I would call a few of them friends and I genuinely care about their well being.

I have never held back, and I have never suffered for doing it. Of course revealing details is a step by step process of give and take stretched out over months or years. As I revealed more personal info I figured out who I could trust with more. I am not married, and not much bad could happen to me if details were made public. On a couple of occasions I parted with a lady under less than ideal circumstances. The ladies never made a peep. First, they are honorable, trustworthy people who I would trust over many friends and family. Also I certainly knew enough about them to make anyone think twice about doing something stupid.

i started out treating providers like anyone else one would meet. this has worked badly in one or two instances. it was essentially equivalent to outing myself. i had assumed that providers would never discuss clients. this was a bad assumption. of the ~4 i've been very open with, certainly one and possibly another did some damage as a result.

i have a set of very unique personal and professional interests. ithey're almost a fingerprint. so a provider innocently (i hope) telling a client or a friend that she has met a guy who professionally does X, Y and Z and is very interested in A, B and C as hobbies.... it is as good as telling someone my name if they have heard of me before. if that provider's friend or client happens to be someone whose interests are hostile to mine..... that can create complications in one's real life that are unwelcome. it can have serious and dramatic repercussions.

i think if i had been much more reserved about sharing some of the neat things i'm interested in and have done... i would have spared myself much drama and misunderstanding.

And I wouldn't have it any other way! ;)

PS:  I admittedly tend toward verbal diarhhea, but even while spewing it, I also edit it to remove stuff that could come back to bite me.  I have never had a problem, but there may be some ticking time bombs out there!

Mikey's in enough trouble as it is. Been awhile, so I was due.

I could elaborate, but what's the point? Not everyone appreciates my twisted sense of humor, and I get introuble for it. It's cool.

Funny thing. Was talking with someone about the fact I don't post under an alias. An alias can spout off on whomever, and get away with it. I don't, and I get the shaft because I want the people to know where it comes from. Whatever.

But in the same sense, I know why I'm moderated for the most part. Because I don't conform. That's cool, too.

Never did. Guess that's why I got into this forum. But to my surprise....

Anyway, what's done is done. ;)

If you just met a provider like 5 times, it's not enough to know her and divulge personal info.
Some providers may be involved in things you don't want any part of.
I recently knew a provider for 5 months and then found out she is a felon out on a 3 yr probation. And then she burnt me last time I met her.  The more familiar she became with me, the more she wanted to take advantage - quality of service went down and she needed more cash.  Yeah, that sounds familiar. I'm glad I didn't share anything vitial about me and won't be seeing her.  Just remember this is P4P and sometimes they are not who they appear to be, so it's best to protect your personal info.

How much of your personal life do you reveal to a provider you have seen a lot and feel comfortable with?
I have became real life friends with a provider I have seen. Our families picnicked together. My wife watched her kid form time to time and she babysat ours once. I gave her a tour of my business and she bought something from me. She new how I met my wife, and that my wife is a provider. She new what my wife tasted like. She often visited my family at my house. In short she became almost like family.

This all happened really quick as well. After a little emergency forced her to get to know me and gave me the opportunity to get to know the real her not the provider persona. My wife and her clicked almost instantly when I introduced them.

The answer depends on the lady, some I let know everything like the lady above, others (most) know nothing more than what I give out for screening. I do give out a lot if requested for screening though. It is the relationship that determines what I share not the number of visits. A few ladies I have seen where friends before I became there client.
