Some of the best providers I've found have been through CL. Independent girls who weren't jaded, didn't have pimps or agencies to indoctrinate them into BS like upselling, weren't spending thousands of dollars on airbrushed photos and pretentious websites to justify steeper prices, and were just doing it on a lark. CL was the perfect launching pad for horny young women who wanted to give it a try without actually hitting the streets.

It was a haven from the well-rehearsed and worn-out routines of coolly professional full-timers (not that some full-timers aren't awesome though). Figuring out which ads were from which type of provider was easy if you checked in regularly and developed an "ear" for unpracticed posts.

I figure there's a chance it may be back after election season is over, in some for or other. In the meantime, thank goodness BackPage hasn't become a household word amongst soccer moms. Yet.

...just shifted locations -- I mean the women who are legit providers that put ads on CL (granted, they were probably small percentage of the ads posted) will move to other sites; and the scammers, robbers and others who seek to prey on the uninformed will also migrate to other locations, looking for more victims.

That's why they call it the world's oldest profession -- it never goes away, it just goes elsewhere.

you would have probably found them on TER if TER allow johns to post negative reviews of these women who scam them. But NO, TER has too many damn requirements to post a review, most of which can't be fulfilled because the very way these women post their ads, scam as many men as quickly as possible, remove their ad and move on.

GET with the times TER!!! Stop censoring the reviews!!!
