I know you're trying to be "cute" or "classy," but just label the pages of your site what they are. Gallery/photos, Rates, Contact, etc.

I just don't like random words like "fantasy," or "indulgence"

ladies, please do not get me wrong, but when you post here,  it is a form of advertising.  I myself have met ladies only because of their presence on TER and the flirtatious nature of the interaction.... and the dates were outta this world... it truly felt like real dates and not an escort kinda thing.

But - and here is the kicker... recently I was looking at a ladies post, and thought "wow, she sounds fun! I might like to meet her... lets see what she offers"  so I quickly go to her review pages and peruse the reviews and everything seems in order... then I click on her web site only to be HUGELY disappointed....  Why?

Ok, lets spell out the basics of your web site.... AGAIN!

1) Fees.... please post your CURRENT fees on the fees page.  if you give multi hour discounts, post that as well.  also post your overnight, travel fees.... and please state that the fee is for your time only.

2) Where the heck are ya... please post the town you are in, no more, unless you are in NYC of some other city with distinct districts which are difficult to reach from each other.

3) Link to your reviews on TER, not other boards, TER if you are posting on TER.

4) A picture of yourself which is NOT Artsie or "stylish" and doctored.  I like a full body shot preferably a profile shot and a full frontal.  These do not have to be nude but they should reveal your physique... a face shot is NOT necessary (for privacy reasons).  But ladies DO NOT make me enter a "secret" password to just see what the heck you look like... that is a very huge part of what you are selling... and we need to know what is in the package.  GOT IT?????  I have been posting this same message for 8 years, and it seems that no one gets it...  Leave off the secret password shit... IF you want to post nude photos of your self, or your face, they put that behind a password, but please, post your full body shot where we can all see if we are interested in bothering you for anything else....

5) contact info.  A phone # please!  e-mails??? how many of us read on here that the e-mail tends to lead to "discovery" by an SO??? phone is quicker, easier, and IMHO more discreet.  but if you must - an e-mail is ok.

6) screening info, - I will willingly provide a business web site with my current photo, and business addy, my TER handle and a couple of other pieces of info.

7) If you are tourning, your travel dates....

I hope this helps.... as I say, I recently went to view a lady's web site... and NONE of the above were present... Instead I was confronted with a password requirement to even access her pictures... what a turn off, and while she posted "gifts" she would like to receive, she did NOT post her Fees.... which she requires....

please.... read the above, and IF you are in doubt about whether or not your web site is BSD certifiable, BSD himself will be more that willing to assit you in coming up to par... for the mere service fee of a session to help evaluate the utility of your web-site... oh you can contact me at my convenient phone # which is

thanks for the heads up..  new to ter here all help is appreciated..
Have a great week

I was thinking of creating a website for providers to click on for all my screening information in one spot. HOWEVER, they will need to sign up for a password and get put on my very cool newsletter as well. roflmfao

Common girls help some fellas out here.

your best bet would be to pay for the screening thru roomservice2000 or preferred411.com and pay their fee and get a member id

to put your info out online ? you are risking losing everything you own ..  not a good idea in my opinion

Of course I would never put my shit up on line.

I was making an agreement and a humorous story tale that I would require a password, much like many ladies have on their websites (Lame).

And NO, I also do not have a newsletter. Not unless you want to count my reviews. There you can live vicariously I suppose. lmao

Sorry was having a blonde moment this morning..... yeah i know you would never put your info online..

been wanting to see.  Got to her website, all her pics were now under lock and key, and you had to sign up to see them. Then I went to check her rates to see if they had changed.  it said "call me for rates"  WTF????  We get blasted for discussing rates prior to or during a meeting, and she wants me to freaking call her to find out what she charges??? Plus I have to sign up just to look at a few pics?????   Needless to say, it's one less in a heavy bucket list!
I guess her business is SO private that even potential dates cant get a date! :-X

Someone started the stupid private/password idea and every one started to follow the leader of the herd.

Another crappy idea is "Registration", which brainiac came up with this one. Every one knows (now they do) that, it is mechanism for collecting and selling email addresses. I am sure, you all know about Junk and Spam mails. There may be a purpose all of you think the mechanism serves, but it is junk and spam mail folder.

When I visit a website, I first go to the photos, lock and key, there is nothing more, out of there.

Great info BSD. These are little things that we learn as we go. I will certainly take all of your advice. It will save me a ton of calls going forward. Afterall, I'd rathered have my website work for me as much as possible!

All great points. I move on when rate is not posted. Personally, I fell awkward asking a provider "how much is it?". I don't want to get into an email exchange either. It is better for both parties to know what is expected of each other.

May be it is just me.

The email link.

DO NOT use a link to bring up someone's mail client, for them to send you an email. Just list your email address.

I consider the forms a source of spam, and the links which launch mail clients often launch the Windows local client (such as outlook), and I am hoping that nobody out there is using his home mail client to send his hobby emails.

I did that once and within a two week period the email account was flooded with so much spam that I had to close it.  "E-mail" is the link to get me, it can't be crawled, and I've minimal spam issues since.

I agree, hopefully nobody is using their home mail client to send hobby emails.  When I come across such links it's not such an issue to "copy" the address, close my mail client, and paste the address into the email server I choose to use.  Yes, it's one more step... though it's easier than trying to reach someone who has to change their email addy every month.

Those who are desperately in need of advise don't really read the board.  Those who don;t ... don't :)

Hi everyone, this thread is really helpful. Thank you. I have been going back and forth with the idea of a website, how it should look, and what information should be available, ect. I have a great group of friends that I see regularly, so I have been taking my time with it. I'm not a fan of the free sites. I'm sure they serve their purpose, and it is better than not having one. I played with a couple of the templates, but I just do not like how they turn out. I figured that since I'm not in a rush It is better to take my time and come up with something great rather than throwing something up that a potential client/friend would never want to visit again. I was really interested in a particular web designer until now. lol. all of the elements that she recommends, praises, and builds the sites on are clearly not functional to those whom visit the site. What do you guys find appealing or refreshing about a companions site that you enjoy visiting?

Fees posted somewhere, I absolutely refuse to call anyone and as about $ on the phone.  We have been drilled over and over about not talking about $ on the phone, yet I see numerous ads that say call for rates.  WTF?  If you are going to ave a website, why not help us out and post the fees there.  I can understand not putting them in an ad, but they should be on your site at least.

Some pics, face blurred is ok, would prefer to see face, but understand some ladies' need for security/privacy.  If I have to get the 'key' to see your pics, adios.  Too many out there with easily accessible pictures to wait for you to send me what I need to see your pics.

Reviews somewhere!!!!!  If you don't have any reviews here or somewhere else, I'm not coming to see you.  I just don't now how legit you are esp if I have no way of knowing any guys you have seen, to at least ask them about you.  I don't TOFTT.
