I would like to help someone very dear to me enter into this business. I would introduce her with photos and a bio but she doesn't have a website or reviews.

Would you book with her based on my recommendation or would you require reviews and a website to prove her crediability?

Coincidentally, this happened to me last week. I saw a new young provider on her first solo date, based on a recommendation from another provider.

I would be described as someone who does a lot of research in selecting providers, always going with well-reviewed ladies. In this case, in addition to no website or reviews, there were no photos and no bio. However, the provider who recommended the young lady is someone who I know and trust, and who knows and trusts me. The result? We both had a great time.

So my answer to you would be yes, I would see someone new based on your recommendation, assuming you and I both knew enough about each other.

Start out by posting on a few of the boards.
Next step, get a website up. Eventually people will see her.
Thats how I got started. No one helped me out. I did the research myself. Also, get the woman involved. Get her to post so other woman feel comfortable to help her.

There is a girl here in Seattle I intro'd to the community.

We started by offering duo's her first month.  I also had a couple of my regulars that I knew were a little more considerate to the ladies and/or wrote reviews on a regular basis, see her at my incall.

I had her sit with me while I did screening and answered emails and phone calls.  Went over the boards with her, both our local board and TER.  

I did set up and still maintain a site for her on my web host.  Nothing fancy.  (I am a slap and dash webmistress at best).

As far as pics go... I think going with candid amatuer shots actually HELPED her to start.  It gave an honest representation that the guys thought was fairly refreshing... no airbrushing right off the bat and a legit look at her bod vs "My best poses".

Between what little rep I had built to that point (I had only been around a few months) and that of the hobbyists I chose to initially intro her too she started out great and has built a fine reputation and career.

You have some awesome answers on this. One suggestion: email [email protected] about this. He has great suggestions and can set up a website for dirt cheap, as well as his really extensive website, which is still reasonably priced for what you get compared to what others will charge.

That's a very good start and good suggestion for getting her 'out there'. In the meantime, she can begin having dates on your recommendations. It seems she's already getting a favorable response!

We have done doubles together but not living in the same state is kind of hard.  We've had to fly in to the ones that agreed to see us both and these are mainly my well established trusted clients whom i've seen over the years.

My only requirement of her is to respect the boundaries of my clients, meaning not to contact them after the date or give them her number.  She's crossed these boundaries once which caused a lost of trust on my part but i'm still willing to help her.  She's still afraid to see clients in her own city even though we've been through the screening process together.  I don't want to be taken advantage of but needed to know when to turn her loose.

Why on earth would you get upset if your friend contacted a hobbyist after a doubles date?  (or if he liked her and wanted to see her by herself without you?)

Just because you saw a gentleman first doesn't mean that he's "yours" for the rest of time, right, LOL?

I feel the client should call for another date.  Please don't misunderstand, I have no problems what so ever if he calls her for another date but usually he makes the call or sends the email.  It's formally the some clients gives you his card after the date but believe me it's not because he wants you to call next week asking to get together again.  

I've been in this industry for 5 years and i'm just trying to explain to her what has worked for me all these years.

if you owned a store and had an assistant and she decided to open her own store would you want her to just plainly tell all your clients "Hey why don't you go to my new store, I even charge less" I know I sure wouldn't.  I don't think there is any jealousy or possessiveness here its just standard business ethics.  If these clients would like to see her later they should contact the "teacher" and go through her or go through her website which he could find by reading reviews on her.

I understand they aren't "her" clients and that they can see who they want but think about this....everybody is a customer somewhere regularly and the business owner does not want to loose your business to everyone..especially an ex employee..its just a given.  That's why they created those non competition clauses lol


To be honest I don't think the young lady is scared to work in her own area, I think she is doing what I call "piggy-backing" so far she has been getting worked solely based on your help and that is just fine to her.  I think she is scared that she won't get as much if she has to do it on her own and establish her own clientele....it may be time to cut the cord.
