i've been thru napster and morpheus and now audio galaxy is gone... anyone know what the new place to share is?
please dont offer me gnutella... the spyware is annoying.

I thought KaZaA was gone but it appears to still be working. Another option - BearShare

Uncheck the boxes next to all the extra s*** the client tries to install during installation.

In addition, get a copy of Ad-aware. It's a free program that will find and remove spyware on your PC.

i have the lavasoft adware...thanks but...

do the options yall gave me have a wide enough client base to get me replacements, can, zodiac killers, nebula and black sweden? not to mention blondie and all the other odd bands that hit me at 4am with a craving need?

Although I may not be able to try them until I get home.  I always avoided Napster because I believed (apparently erroneously) that they would only have pirated versions of legitimate material I could buy - whereas I am looking for material not available commercially.
Wrong again.  Will try some of your suggested links when I get home in a few weeks or so.

Put in a second vote for winmx, has as much stuff as napster had and is not a kazaa, morpheus clone. great software and you can pick up any type of files there, including new movies in avi, or divx or mpg format.

as for non priated what you cant get, audio galaxy and morpheus and napster are ONLY sharing that kind right now...
