There's a "two girl adventure" I've been wanting to hook up with and I can't seem to work out a good time to do it.  I can squeeze it in today but, the first person I'd see afterward is my SO.  I wouldn't even have time to shower before seeing the SO!!   Besides, I don't want her to be the first person I talk to after doing something like that.  I can't seem to pop my cherry into the hobby due to these roadblocks lol  ARGH

...means that you're still a bit new to all of this, right? The risk potential probably seems high to you (and we never want to discount the potential downside to the SO catching on to any activities), so why rush? With time, the "roadblocks" will resolve themselves and things will happen when they are supposed to.

ALWAYS listen to that inner voice that tells you when it *will* be a "good time to do it." If this particular duo doesn't work out right now, well -- there will be other opportunities that will feel right.

Yes, I'm a complete Newb.  I've been researching and reading for months.  I've read a ton of mrfisher's stuff and that guy is the Yoda to TER BTW anyway, I think you're absolutely right.  My intent with the post was just to share my experience and hope for advice.  Thank you for helping!!!!!!!

so does mine!  I haven't done anything but she picks up stuff from women I work with!!!!  That just makes it that much more stressful.  But, I'm in a position where I have to P4P or nothing.  We have two small children and have no time for each other.  Which is why I'm hobbying in the first place.  I love my wife dearly but I have needs and have to do what I have to do!  The hobby is by no means a permanent deal for me.

I bring a small bottle of my body wash with me so I will not smell different (i.e. fancy hotel soap).

Afterwards having someplace else to go, as in meeting a buddy for a beer so you can unwind and let some of that excitement wear off. Surely there is some way you can do that. PLAN! There guys here are very helpful and have already thrown in some great pointers.
Maybe make it a golf thing where you can block a few hours out and tell her you had one celebration drink with the guys after cuz you played that "hole in one" so well. Being new, you do not know how you will handle the after part and some guys have a lousy "poker face".  
Or even a guys night poker game...
