If you have doubts, check the donation or even remove it while he is washing his hands in your bathroom.  Suggest he step out if necessary or if he stalls, just count it in front of him.  I generally don't like this but you can easily explain the BL complaint as reason.
In my view, there's nothing lower than stealing from a provider.  I want the service, I owe the donation.

I'm not on the provider board to ask this.... so any ladies, would you still see this guy?

I would see such man if he will send me linked in and would be an investor or CEO or partner in some big firm ..
with knowing real name and employment  and  the fact he  has roses and  does not kill
what else need I know? that he  was may be rude to someone who may be as well was not too nice to him?
or black listed him because of ..what? why he was black listed and who is and then talk to him yourself
as you know men treat different women differently ..
they marry once and they avoid others ... so.. it is all between him and you if of course he passes all screening ..
It is how I do approach and I  ll never will see one who wants just an hour in short note and has  10  recommends in date check .. not as high recommended .. just recommend plus black listed .. plus do not have any professional info  ..  then NO see for sure .
see my reviews whom I see

All his references are like 3 years old and the blacklist was from back then. He was surprised he was blacklisted and thought it was in error. I tend to be too trusting of guys on here and take their word for what they say. Never a good thing. So I'm at a point where I don't know what to do. The guy seems nice in our email conversations, but then again in the blacklist the girl mentioned that he did not pay her and that he was an a-hole. He seemed super nice to me :(.

Some guys will scan sites like Linked In and find someone that looks good in the area and tell a provider they are him so if that's all you're using as reference, you're nuts.  Everything needs to be followed up on and proven.  Taking someones word on anything is just plain stupid!  Many of these guys want to coast through the verification process and will use whatever deceptive practices they can to meet you and still get away with never having to give any personal info.  Meanwhile, they are trying to obtain as much info about you as they can online with all of their user names on various sex boards!  True story!!

Would depend on reasons listed on blacklist.  You mentioned no pay and all info 3yrs old. References 3 yrs old are too old for me. If he has a recent reference willing to vouch for him then maybe but if references are 3 years old and blacklisted....probably a no go for me. Personal info is ok but does not tell you how he will treat you in private.  Someone took the time to blacklist him,  maybe just a nasty gal but why risk? You can't judge or screen by tone of voice etc, solid screening needed esp if blacklisted.

If you have doubts, check the donation or even remove it while he is washing his hands in your bathroom.  Suggest he step out if necessary or if he stalls, just count it in front of him.  I generally don't like this but you can easily explain the BL complaint as reason.

Many times a client can go bad..sure, that happens but providers can also go bad when said client tells the truth about their outdated photos, 15 year age bluff, and double wide ass in a review. Their first line of defense is to make a threat to blacklist said client if the review is not removed, and viola..you have a ton of bs blacklists.

I'd be cautious and read through each descriptive on why the client was blacklisted. Regardless of when that happened. I keep references within the last 6 months. Ultimately, it's your decision until you feel any type of red flag waving...steer clear. Is your safety worth being jeopardized for a potential hazardous client?
