Just go! We are not really interested in the virtues or the death knell of being in this community. What you don't get: People will come and go all the time. They come in the first place typically out of adversity in their lives... they often stay because somehow from whatever side of the door they are on, they learn to love (or very heavy like) what they see and do. Sure, this life is also very mean to some and some get fucked in ways worse than you can imagine. And yes, if you don't have a strong constitution, then you are really along for a strange ride. It's also true that this life is expensive and yes in a human way too. So before you disparage what you think this life is or is not doing for the collective of humankind, just look in the mirror and quietly exit, stage left. Better yet, write the word CHOICE on a piece of paper, turn it upside down and face it toward that mirror. When you see what happens, you'll understand why any of us is here. If you don't, then I truly have misunderstood. While I don't suggest suicide, I will tell you that public repudiators most always fall on their own knives. Fare ye well, but go quietly, silently, and unobtrusively into oblivion or use PM, because most of us don't care.

I agree with every character you keyed.  However, people should be able to say whatever they want and unleash the drama queen inside occasionally.  It makes for good comedic guilty pleasures for those of us easily amused.  I would much rather they hold a pity party for themselves here, then go shoot up a school somewhere.  

According to many here, we are all dropping like flies from AIDS and under the surveillance by the NSA.  Mankind is conspiring against the hobby.  So no wonder there's a revolving door.  Its probably not paranoia that's to blame for the high turnover, but more likely they are tired of reading judgmental, hypocritical swill about the sky is falling.
