An amazing tool. Problem is, if this is used on the images of the ladies and that manipulation is used, the impact of the reality would be quite shocking and not surprising when a client turns on his heels and walks away.

Correct me if I am wrong but the only photo manip could possibly be in the changing from color to B&W or evening out some bad lighting. What say the masses?

There are quite appropriate uses for other PS tools as well.  I blur my face and remove tattoos (using a variety of tools) for privacy, with a disclaimer stating they exist on my gallery page.  I've also used the perspective tool to fix distortion caused by shooting up or down angles (stairs, etc.).  Oh yeah, and I've been known to remove a zit from my butt, remove a crease on my belly from not sitting up straight, and lighten the shadows cast on my face...

Seriously, some photo editing makes the pics look more representative of what you will actually see in person.

No doubt it is wrong to use outdated or deceivingly altered photos.  That said, can we consider getting more realistic with the phrase "model material" ?  Most people do NOT have a pro make up artist and light designer with them during sessions... I think society has forgotten what real people actually look like.

We politely lie about ever shopping at Wal-mart or the 99-cent store. A visit too either and you'll be instantly reminded we share DNA with apes.

I have to walk out empty handed, and go else where. They never have what I go in for?

The other day I saw a Walmart commercial about CC, credit, or something. On the commercial they show a credit card, and the name on the card was...fatshooper.

but an honest, enlightened post as always.

Always nice to see you comment on something, S.

Happy holidays, my friend.

I am assuming you are discussing the removal of wrinkles in the countless number of ladies out there or
easily taking 10-15 pounds off a girl. Yep that is entirely possible.

The photographers who I work with prided themselves on the fact that they never altered body shapes of ladies. All of their photos were lighting corrections. They were very selective with who they photographed and even had measurement requirements in order to acquire images. In fact if a client has asked, I have sent unedited photos of me in the past because they were so exact. The only difference was the lighting and colors in the photos.

Sure you can shape any lady into a model with photographers who spend hours in photoshop but honestly you won't fool the client

I only ever edit lighting and have plenty of selfies on my site so you know exactly what you're getting into. :)
