December is always an slow season for the hobby ?

As Eddie Murphy once said:  "Hey, we're losing all our damn money, and Christmas is around the corner, and I ain't gonna have no money to buy my son the G.I. Joe with the kung-fu grip! And my wife ain't gonna f... my wife ain't gonna make love to me if I got no money!" So they're panicking right now, they're screaming "SELL! SELL!"

most would likely have told you don't spend $ in December....

Summers were usually death in New Orleans so all the girls would either sign up with an agency or tour. Since I moved to the beach I have a feeling that is going to be the best time for the hobby, since we get so many spring breakers and vacationers.  It might not be the season, but the places you're going and where you're advertising. Be happy to speak with you via PM.  I was a professional tourist for about 2.5 years, then totally backed off, and I must say...it's killing me to be so grounded. I am bored to tears in the day time, can't go out at night because I work, and only see my family once a month. I wish I was in your shoes again. I can tell you the places I did well, but that is no guarantee that you will do well. We all seem to excel and fail in different areas. Touring is a crap shoot, really.

Stripper for a decade and then an escort since 2000 been in biz a long while.   The only slow time ever prior to 2009 was summer in texas (july and mostly august - few biz travelers and locals with money leave to escape extreme heat of the area)  all holidays were BooMing.  always lots of dollars through out the holidays.   but I don't tour so no idea about touring. even in the good times traveling never made me money.  

As a hobbyist I always try to schedule something fun in December. It's a present for me! Let's face it, ties and sweaters aren't very exciting.  So I have scheduled overnighters with ATFs in years past.  A nice hotel, some fun time together, then cocktails at a interesting bar & dinner at a nice restaurant. Back to the hotel for some more fun... then room service in the morning, followed by a final 'happy holidays hump'!  It really is the best gift you can give yourself!

I'd like to be one of your clients in the new year, but just traveled for Thanksgiving and will travel for Xmas and then turn around and travel for New Years Eve. So, unless you are in a city I'm traveling to, I checked unfortunately you're not, I wouldn't be able to see you. I suppose a lot of the guys that are married just can't get away from the ball and chain this time of year.

Hobbyist wants to celebrate with an ATF or touring favorite. He is simultaneously besieged and obligated by family, friends, family, friends, family, friends. He finally sees an opportunity to break away; and he finds he is near broke.
