I used to be primarily interested in people as photography subjects, but during the last couple of years, I've gotten more fascinated with landscape photography, after I saw some epic landscape photos in galleries/museums.
Beautiful use of color and stop motion photography. They are very "Warholian", vibrant colors, reds, yellows, silver and the rest. You can see the sensuality of the female mouth. You can feel the lust. Probably speaks volumes to you Kim.
This image and a lot of the other images you posted are from her film "Green Pink Caviar". I actually saw the film for the first time 2 weeks ago when I saw her give a talk in nyc. She is Amazing. Love her stuff. Have you heard of Cicily Brown? Another great feminist filmmaker!
i'd go through all sorts of contortions to get behind the waterfall or find a kinky angle to it. to do the same thing in surf required special gear since invariably i and everything would get wet. the waterproofing problem was interesting to solve....
i was strictly amateur, though i sold a few prints. however my fabulous second ex has all my old landscapes and the prints. that was part of "the deal". it's OK i got fair value on it.
recently i have only photographed a few travel shots and the occasional lady who has confidence in my compositional skills.
