A question about towels.....

And I'm totally serious when I ask this....

Towels... why do you guys always use the white ones? Obviously at a hotel they are typically white, but I'm talking about at a providers own incall. I've noticed for probably two years now that guys always use my white towels/hand towels/washcloths only. Like many women my bathroom is decorated with its own little theme, and the towels and such are white, brown, and different shades of green. Guys always pick out the white ones. Even now, when I purposely leave a fresh brown or green towel/washcloth out, they will go into the cabinet and pick a white one out of the stash. Never fails. I don't especially mind, just find it interesting.

What gives? Are you afraid of green lint? Would green lint be suspicious on you when you got home? Are you just partial to white towels? Do you think the colored ones are just for show, and knowing women, you don't want use the wrong ones? Am I missing something here? Ladies, has anyone else noticed this or is it just me??

I totally would like to know!

Cheers!
G

I am a white towel guy too. my experience is that colored towels, for some reason, hold onto more of the conditioner that makes them less absorbent, and their texture is frequently more velour like.  Rather have an absorbent, less soft towel.  Also, guys have been told over and over by their wives not to use the 'nice' towels.

I don't own a white towel for my home, just deep, rich colors.  But I might also use the white towels if I'm at an incall just because I can tell they're clean and not being used by someone else.

Hey, we guys are funny, partly because we're not sure what to do half the time.  When I go to a friend's house every Christmas eve, his wife has all these Christmas towels everywhere and I always end up wiping my hands on my pants because I'm not sure if the towels are to be used or just for decoration.  Probably not what the hostess had in mind when she put them out.

Colored towels are decorative.  White towels are for use..  Thats of course unless you are told otherwise.

You know Goddam well I didn't use any of your white towels. It was BROWN! And you didn't leave me a washcloth either!

As a matter of fact, I was insulted you weren't in there WITH me! WTF! ;)

I will use the white towels first because some people reserve the color towels for decorative purposes only. My best friend's mother was that way. But I will not go looking for white towel if they are not plainly out for use as color towels are fine. I just don't want to use the wrong towel.

I purchased some red towels for use at home several years ago. One day I saw some red stains on my white boxers it scared the shit out of me thinking I was passing blood.

So I went to the doctor and had some test done. What we learned was it was the dye form the towel rubbing off on my body and when put my shorts on it rubbed off on them.

So white works better for me. It would be hard to explain at home why I had Green, Red, Blue stains on my shorts at home when we don’t have that color towels.

But that’s just me being paranoid.

I dont understand why they use so damned many. Never mind the color.
Do you really need 2 hand towels, one washcloth, and one full sized towel to simply wash off?
Geeezzzz

Not only do I feel I was pushed out, but now being irresponsible, too?

The REAL reason I went to NC, and now this.

I wasn't late for you, was I?!

BTW, the boys LOVE me! I dare you to deny it! ;)

I'm just a freak for green.  Not that pea green that you saw on a rusty Ford from the 70's, but a deep, lush dark green.  My carpeting is green, the granite in the kitchen is green.  Hell, my last car was green, and so are the towels in my bathroom.  So I'd feel right at home but beware-you might walk in and find me pinching a loaf while flipping through the current issue of Playboy.  Making me feel comfortable isn't completely a good thing.

Beginning the day before and continuing until that very moment that we actually meet there are butterflies in my stomach, a spastic colon to deal with and endorphins rushing through my bloodstream in response to the anxious, nervous anticipation of what is about to happen between myself and a perfect stranger.

Before I arrive at your incall its very important that I shower with an sos pad, scour my mouth with baking soda and gargle foul tasting Lavoris all the way to your front door.

Once inside the real awkward begins.

While standing in your kitchen I am concerned about what to do with the envelope. I want to get this right. This is a very important moment in the date. It can make or break what will happen over the next hour. Do I leave it on the microwave ?

Damn, I don't think she was watching when I laid it down. Do I pick it back up and wait til she is looking. But once it is out of our hands I believe that its some kind of unwritten provider law that we are forbidden to ever touch it again.
Oh well. She will probably find it at lunch.

Next is that nervous, awkward stage of the date where your not sure whether to just strip all of your clothes off or wait to be invited to do so. You worry that you don't want to be too forward but don't want to come off as shy or too cool either. Maybe I should wait for her to undress me.

I love to kiss. I'm not exactly sure if she does or not because I was not allowed to ask questions before our meeting. That would get me ignored from ever seeing her and I don't want that. Even if I find that she does love to kiss, is my breath fresh enough for her ? Damn!

Here we go, its all happening. I begin to worry whether I will be able to get hard? Will I be able to stay hard? Will my idea of hard be hard enough for her ?

Is my daty any good? How is my dato technique? How is my breath after spending so much time performing the above?

More worry.

Will I be able to cum and where, and more importantly, will I be able to make her cum 4 or 5 times within that hour? Its constantly in the back of my mind. Damn, all of this is exhausting.

Over the next hour my mind reels from the constant information fed to me by the sites, sounds and sensations I am experiencing.

All in all it will always work out to a successful ending to a nervous but extraordinary date with a beautiful woman (stranger).

In conclusion I just want to say that the last thing that I need to worry about after a worry some day as described above is....
"what color towel I am using to clean up with when we are done".

Smile!

We got married and divorced in less than 12 hours.

Beat Britney Spears' record!

Though, if Gabby and I would've met in Vegas, we could've shattered THAT just as easily! ;)

A towels a fucking towel. WTF difference what color it is?

You can sit there with a straight face, and honestly say a brown towel, or a blue towel, what-fucking-ever, out-performs a white towel?

WTF are you smoking and how come you're not sharing?!

As far as being told shit by their wives about towels, I'm single.

Takes more than 2 or 3 dates for me to con a lady into marrying my wicked ass! ;)

I was visiting someone who had a million kinds of soap: lavender, chamomile, rose, mango, pomegranate, ... everything but plain old Ivory or manly-man Irish Spring.

In case you can't tell, I prefer a plain white towel, too.

If they are used to hotel and MOST but not all have white towels that's why they go for the white ones. In my apartment I don't have my own personal towels I use on my body hanging in the bathroom but now if they go to my hallway closet that's a different story but if it's a cabinet in the bathroom lol it just sounds like they are just going for what they know. Maybe just let them know which you set out for them.

Bring some colored towels to Boston and i will personally use them.

Might be some think that whites are easier to wash with the sheets.

In my field, we use linen services that wash, press, and fold. Why? Because we suck at it. Not as proficient and are actually dropping accounts because there is so little profit.

Towels are one thing. Wash them, dry them and fold them. Easy. It's the pressing that takes the time, especially if you don't have the equipment.

So no, hotels do not wash the towels with the sheets. Same with restaurants. Which reminds me, I have to make a special trip tomorrow to service an account on the other side of the fucking city on my 3 day-fucking weekend.

Sucks to be me sometimes. :(
