TER General Board

Ladies, would consider me rude if..

I emailed you and asked if you had any photos beyond what is shown on your website?
I contacted a woman who has about 20 reviews over the last 2 years on TER (I won't post her name, I am not interested in a pissing contest). Her website is sophisticated, and classy. Her rates are high by the standards of most markets. Based on what I saw, I was interested, but was not yet sold. I sent a very polite note asking if any other pics were available.
She got back to me and said I was rude. She got very defensive in her reply. Many assumptions can be made by her attitude, and I won't be seeing her.
But, in general, is a polite request such as this impolite? I mean, afterall, I am the customer.

I have nearly ten years of archived galleries on my website, so much that every new shoot I have to weed out old photos to prevent going over my data usage... anyone asking for more photos from me just doesn't get a response.

Yesterday I declined a special Eros offer for top tier listing for their Caucasian category.  Why?  I'm not interested in meeting clients who would want to meet primarily based on my skin.  It is possible that the lady feels she has enough representative photos up, and took your query as though you are more interested in a specific physical feature, rather than her as a person and personality.

Elle, I did not ask for face shots. But even if I did, that would have been stupid of me, but not necessarily rude. IMHO

If you are not happy with the lady that arrives cause she has misrepresented herself then you are in no way commited to her for anything.

Simple

Bait and switch or misrepresentaion is not good business.

It all depends on how many photos are on a providers website. If she only has a couple than I can see a gent asking if perhaps she has more pictures. However,if a provider has a full photo gallery of pictures then I would not see the need to ask for more pics.
I don't think it is rude but that is just my opinion maybe something in your message to her she found offensive. Some guys will still ask for more pictures on my website I have about 50 pictures 3 different photo galleries and I still get gents asking for more pictures.I politely direct to them to my galleries if they cannot see what I look like out of 50 pics it starts to sound like someone fishing for pictures.
In no way am I saying that this is what you were doing I am just giving my .02

I've never asked for additional pictures. If the site doesn't have enough pictures for me to make a decision, I just move on. And if the pictures don't reveal enough than I just move on. To many providers out there with plenty of pictures.

i agree..that was rude..i wouldnt send you any either,,if you cant make he decision on what you see..you must not be very interested..she obviously knows that too..impertinent is the word you are looking for..

If your note was indeed polite (and judging from your prose, no reason to disbelieve that), then I see nothing "wrong" with your request, just as there was nothing "wrong" with her refusal to do so and copping a 'tude.  Some people here seem to forget that these are purely business transactions that we are discussing and should be treated accordingly.

That's why one of my mantras is "It's a buyer's market!"  This point is made abundantly clear by the number of total reviews noted at the top your screen, more than three quarters of a million.  That's a lot of folks who are willing to put your dick in their mouth for the right amount of money.  Whenever I encounter someone such as you describe, I clickity, click, move on.  I can count on one hand the number of "bad" experiences I've had and one of the reasons for that is I have always been willing to continue to look for someone who is amenable to reasonable requests such as yours.

Don't ask for additional pictures on her site or on any of the boards, then yes it's rude. She has pictures on her site just look at those.
These women are smart enough to know you just want something to jerk off to and are not obligated to provide that to you.
Are you going to ask for an extra 20 minutes  OTC too?

The request is fine, but don't expect to get what you are asking for.

If she wanted clear face photos out there then the'd be out there. She has concern about her privacy and that's prudent in this business.

I don't think she should have been rude in her reply but you'll get a lot of no responces I'm guessing.

Now don't you think if we had more pictures they would be on our site in the first place?  Why would we be holding pics?  It's not a rude question, just frustrating and doesn't even make any sense if you really think about it!

So my answer would be, "now if I had more pics they would be posted on my site with all the rest".  Some of us even post candid pics on our site along with professional pics to avoid this type of thing.

And, asking for pics is the one of the top scams guys who never intend to book an appt pull.  They just want jack off material.  So that is what you COULD be categorized as.

And in this economy, it may a bit much for her to deal with.

Move on, and I would not take it too seriously.  She might just be having a bad day.

What are you looking for here? An education as to whether or not you request was rude? If so, then post the exact wording and context of your request so that we can properly evaluate.

Otherwise, what difference does it make what we think? Obviously, she wasn't pleased with your request, she isn't going to send you any more pictures, and you are not going to see her. Story's over.

I just got an email today, from someone who had gone through my screening process and I had taken the time to approve...when I offered him an appointment, he replied to my email, "if it's all the same to you I'd like to see a picture of your face before we meet"
No, it is not all the same to me...of course I am not putting face pictures out in cyberspace or sending them to people I have never met...and why make me go through the hassle of approving you without stating ahead of time your criteria?
Because we are talking about a fella here that could never dream of landing a lady of my caliber without paying and yet he is wasting my time.  Now that IS rude.  And he is now on my never to see list...no matter what he says next.  My response was simply, "no can do. Take care" and if I was feeling froggy I would have added, "I'm not here to school you on common courtesy so don't ask me why."  He just screwed himself out of a fabulous time with someone way out of his league.  In fact I thought it was funny that he even asked judging by his own looks he would pretty much be lucky to be seen by any provider.  Now do I sound like a conceited bitch or a confident woman who knows her value?  Because a lot can be misconstrued through the written word and I would say either one of the two of you may have been adding tonality to the written words in the email exchange and that is the price of doing business on the internet.
As for asking for more pics, I agree with what someone already said here, if we had more to share they would already be posted.  We take a LOT of time to build and maintain our websites, investing in the advertising (time and dollar) and we of course put our best out there for you to see.  If it's not enough, find someone who shows you what you want to see...you just CANNOT imagine how often people try to waste our time.  Some things we hear constantly are just tired and to some ladies may end up seeming rude if they've answered the same query many times even if it wasn't to you...so I would always stick to the old adage about ass-u-me-ptions.
I was just posting recently about the percentage of my website traffic that actually contacts me for an appointment...it is no joke, about 1%...so we obviously know what the traffic on our photo pages is for.  In many cases we will just cut you off at the chase and cut our losses to not have time wasted...just filling in some blanks for you.
Good luck and happy hunting...next time find a photo gallery that satisfies all your questions upfront ;)

You say she has 20 reviews over the last 2 years. So, you have more than plenty of information to work with when deciding if you would like to see her.

You also say her website is sophisticated, and classy. Her rates are high by the standards of most markets. BUT, regardless----based on what you saw, you were interested, but not yet sold.

I can easily see how asking for more pictures, above and beyond what she has already provided, publicly, on the Inet, pictures that will never go away---presumably pictures she was comfortable making public—that, she may feel she has already more than adequately fulfilled the general request for pics. And a good assumption is that, if she wanted to publish more pics, she already would have.

Asking her for more is not rude, necessarily. But, the underlying motivation on your part for asking in the first place could be interpreted; at minimum suspicious (you want them as JO material). At medium: potentially insulting (what’s wrong with the pics she’s already posted?).

Worse case, it places you in the position of being someone who may be, not only very difficult to please, but you may be a guy who is shopping not for an experience with a person, but for a “product”.

And no one likes to feel like a product.

.... you can ask whatever you want but it's her right to say no. Even as the customer you're NOT entitled to anything and everything you ask for just because you're paying her so there you go.
I'd have just left it at no if what's on my site isn't enough I can't do further. But let's hope you're not that guy to keep pushing it after she's already said no. Sometimes I wish more would put themselves in our shoes and think about what they're asking before they ask it.

I have lots of pics on my site.
When people ask me for more I usually delete their email.

If it appears that a guy's request is unreasonable, in spite of a lady having several current photos on her website and current ads/posts, then, sure, maybe he is just a weirdo just out looking for free wack-off material, not to mention wasting a provider's time. However, what if a provider has not posted any new photos in years since shortly after she began in the business (as ascertained by the start of her reviews and by following her ads for awhile)? What if other photos on her website are of a partner she hasn't worked with in almost a year? And she hasn't bothered to update most everything else on her website, to include calendar, changing donations.... or her own photos? What if the provider's recent photos in recent ads/postings are blurred to the point of almost no use, in spite of her face being 3/4 cut off for obvious security concerns? What if her recent photos in recent ads/postings are obviously not even of her (if one has seen or googled earlier ads in his research of her)? And she even openly claims in her ad that she is using fake photos that, supposedly, resemble her for safety/security reasons? What if you happen to know, that she is actually at least 10 years older than her stated age - and not just a few years fib? And what if, in her recent posts, she states to have become a year younger, even as she approaches another birthday? At best, this is a "truth in advertising" issue. At worst, it is outright deception by someone who likely has something to ride... and potentially a BIG RED FLAG! And so, it really all depends: if a potential client even wants to still consider seeing such a provider, in spite of the numerous yellow-red flags that he may see or at least suspect then, sure, I would tend to think that he is well within his rights to ask for a recent photo rather than to waste HIS time and money. On the other hand, if the "lady" was previously deceptive and deceitful, what is to prevent her from sending out another fake or doctored photo, and our fooled client may never know until he arrives at her door....

I'm finding out it's an imperfect gig.  Both providers and clients alike have to make decisions which honestly are calculated risks.  As others have indicated, if they wanted to have face pics out in the net, they would be on their website.  You are the customer, but this isn't like you're going into a Wallmart and buying laundry detergent.  Same rules don't apply IMO.

than you should not need more.  If there's a limited number OR all the same view...  than he's justified to ask.   It's only rude if he does not use the tools provided.   Your pictures are your selling point.  While I don't feel they need to be totally explicit, there should be a variety of dress & undress, clothing, props & drapes, a variety of sides & angles...  so that taken in total, I know what you look like naked before I arrive at your door.  This might take quite a few pictures...  or just a handful...
If I don't think I have enough information to be certain of what she looks like...  then it's an automatic PASS!  If clients are asking, then THEY don't think your photos are suffient to know what you look like.  Rather than dissing the potential client...  review your pictures.  Do they reveal the true you?  If not fix it.  Don't be defensive.  She should thank him for the feed back that they weren't enough to make him confident of her appearance.

Don't try to compare your roll as "the customer" with an escort as being the same as a guy in line at the deli asking to slice the cold cuts thinner.

Look at her website, read her reviews and make your decision. Simple.

If that was the case, then I can see it being justified to ask. I mean how many women ONLY show the parts of their body they are confident about and hide the rest? If a woman covers one specific area of her body in every photo, something is up. She either has a gut, thunder thighs, or a double wide ass she is trying to hide, so in those cases I think it's ok to ask for more photos.

I am not saying she has to agree, but I can see how that might not be an unreasonable request. No, I don't find your request rude but I would not submit to it either. I have 65 photos on my website in different lighting, outings, clothing, and hair styles, all of which let you see my ENTIRE body down to my little bit, with no photoshop except for my face which is lightly blurred.

If she is showing you all the goods including her vagina, and you still want more...buy the video!
