Fuck around on the person who helped pay back those loans?

Dear, dear.  If you only know that....Well how should I put it.

very interesting article in a major newspaper based in NYC (won't mention it because TER might ban this post).

I am calling BULLSHIT on ANY woman claiming to have a college degree and being an escort.

Don't see it, don't believe ----- pigs will fly, guys in da hood will have good credit, gay marriage will be legal in Alabama before I believe it.

Before the yakkers start complaining.  Having a degree is no sign of intelligence.  THE DUMBEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET HAVE BEEN COLLEGE GRADUATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, OK, now working your way thru college while being an escort - that I get.  I mean why you can't be a waitress at Applebee's is for you and your therapist.  But hey I get it.

But you put in 4 years or more and you still keep doing this!!!!

What's the point?  RT don't get it:(

Now, why are there not more "Lane Bryant" type models in the Hobby?

Hey I like a BIG ASS.  But cheap technology and market transparency (don't have time to explain now) have done a disservice to those gals who have junk in the trunk.  Know what I mean.

Thin chicks who would never hobby - have now got into the game because they saw that big gals were making $$$.

And they said WTF she's fat and making $200 an hour.  I am thin so I can make double that.

See fellas, there is a downside to technology. (bummer)

Only half joking. The job market is still very weak for new college grads, and if you can see a woman in her early twenties escorting to pay for college it shouldn't be too hard to believe she woulld continue escorting to pay off loans and supplement income when she can't find a decent-paying entry level job out of college.

to be business geniuses...leaving "Corporate" America to fuck for bucks  LOL

Love those hookers...it's as comical as the disclaimer on their sites!

of all the silly SH-- in this life.

Selling PUSSY is not being in business.  Um OK.

Why can't these gals just say "look it's EZ $$$"

Is that so fucking wrong?

Stop trying to justify it with all these other BS.

And please for the life of everything holy.  Don't blame this on student loans.  Sheesh.

Between myself and my wife we have five degrees and when we were done we had almost $200K in student loans.

You know what we did to pay it off?

When to work and paid like CRAZY to the Fed Govt.

Hey selling PUSSY is OK.  OK!!!!!!!

The issue that I would wonder about is the real experience that you have had. A one on one college sex experience could be drinking, dancing and vanilla sex. Do this 20 times over 2-4 years and you consider yourself experienced. Go to Puerto Rico with 5 friends, meet three guys, drink during the day and at night, go back to some ones room and there are six women and three guys. What do the three women who are not with the guys do while not engaged. Seven Princeton girls and four guys, and the girls are experimenting with each other. Or working her way into trying a threesome. usually, my guess is watching TV and telling a story about sex with 9 people.
How many comparative Lit Majors have entered a guy's room, slowly took of her cloths and, without saying a word, began playing with herself, postponing an orgasm and staying on the edge until the asking became begging. Told some one you were dating that you wanted to add an activity, toy or share preferences every night for a few weeks. The odds are that the 35 year old woman who has been in the workplace with executives for ten years has engaged, experienced and experimented with activities and toys you have never heard of.
A waitress needs a job, but she has to be able to find the kitchen. Her customer is soon not going to be happy just because she is young and attractive.

There are a lot of reasons college grads do this stuff.

I'm here because I lost a job at a hospital I was at for ten years. Doing very, very well. Got sick, (temporarily,) got well enough to work again a year later, my LTD through work got dropped the second I got better, did this to get by until I found work, started getting a lot of money quickly, got a lot of sex easily, (addicted hehe,) and was able to help family/friends who needed it and have tons of time to write and pursue my dreams.

Everyone has their reason for doing things. Remember, the economy isn't what it was ten years ago. Also remember anyone with a medical background who has had to suck their life insurance dry due to illness is a liability to any company, and don't say there are laws against rejecting people who have had a disability. There's red tape. I've seen it first hand, and employers don't give a s***.

I think it's fun playing dress up, meeting new people, and making a decent income. Setting your own schedule, buying nice things, looking pretty all the time... what woman doesn't like that?! lol.

:)

but out of sheer curiousity - if you had a great job at a hospital that means you have training and education.

While I completely understand setbacks in life (believe me I do).

Why not go back into the healthcare industry?

Even @ a lower rate of pay.  Over time your income would increase as the economy increases.

Not judging just curious - really.

Good question... I am!!! :D

I've interviewed quite a few times recently. I've applied/sent resumes for hundreds of jobs since I've gotten better, (January,) for jobs in and out of the hospital industry... Just admin assistant. My dream is to sing and write. Been doing it since I was a tiny girl. I can afford voice lessons, good software to record, and the time it takes to do all that.

This will definitely come up if I make it, but... Bad publicity is FREE advertising!!! Hehehe.

:D

Many college grads are doing jobs that are not related to their degrees.  Some just couldn't find that "right" job, but many discovered that studying about it, and doing it are two different things.  They do not like the job they trained for, so switch.  Most people change careers thrice in their life.  Why shouldn't women with degrees not choose a career that is well paid, can be a lot of fun, and has a freedom to choose their own schuedule.

My question is not why would a college educated woman become a hooker, but why aren't there more who do?

Smart people get it. :)

Unfortunately the maturity it takes to thumb your nose at the stigma and all it's challenges is rare in typical college grads.

I always knew I wouldn't find a very high paying job right out of graduate school...but I also figured that I would be able to find something that had something to do with writing or editing with an MFA. But I graduated right when the economy really took a nose dive. So I interviewed for jobs that, had I been older and interviewed for in, say 2005, I would have been hired immediately. For example, a very famous literary magazine here in town needed an assistant to the editor. Not only did I have 2+ years experience as an assistant, but I was also one of the editors on my college's literary magazines back when I was an undergraduate. And they basically said "We'd love to hire you...but someone applied who has a PhD...so we're gonna go with them." You'd honestly be surprised how often I heard that. All I could really find was bottom of the totem pole, answering phones, sorting mail types of positions. And I did that for a while. But those jobs were all dead ends, and I found that I had very little time to write or go to writer's workshops; I would just get up, go to work, go home (which often took over an hour), eat dinner, watch TV and go to bed. Wash, rinse, repeat. I get that so many people do it everyday...but I just couldn't anymore. It was wearing on me, and it was draining. And not to say what I do can't wear on me from time to time, or get draining...but hey, at least I get as much time as I want to write and send stuff out, and don't have to worry about being at the bottom of the barrel anymore.

I'm guessing that earning an MFA isn't terribly difficult.

Sure hope she doesn't use her writing(s) here on a vitae.

ead "Why Are We In Vietnam" by Norman Mailer. One sentence goes on for 1.5 pages. Amazingly, it flows well, and is easily understood.

Don't try this at home, college grads. ;)

Honestly your diatribe could easily have been broken up into at least 4 separate paragraphs.

From a basic readers perspective that is  LOL

But you should take heed in what you actually wrote.  It starts getting late in the game if you honestly expect to break into the writing world with any credibility.  And the lame excuse of the "job market" is just another excuse.

So if you ever expect to escape this world...start moving on it sooner than later.  Or you'll find yourself asking WTF happened.

I guess I could have made this all one paragraph...but my writing pals tell me that's not correct.

To all the writing critics with major grammatical errors in their own writing...

Show us what you can do. Edit the paragraph you're critiquing. I'll be happy to critique your editing.

Let's start with the critique below.

"Honestly your diatribe could easily have been (could have easily been) broken up into at least 4 separate paragraphs. (When writing numbers, 0-10 should be written in words, not numbers.)

From a basic readers (reader's) perspective (,) that is (.) LOL  (Did this need a separate paragraph?)

But you should take heed in what you actually wrote.  (The word 'but' isn't needed here.) It starts getting late in the game if you honestly expect to break into the writing world with any credibility. (You used a big word here. Zero points added. Honestly is fluff. Take that word out and see the sentence makes much more sense and is easier to read.) And the lame excuse of the "job market" is just another excuse. (You seem to use a lot of conjunctions at the start of your sentences.)

So (here we go again...) if you ever expect to escape this world...(comma?) start moving on it sooner than later.  (Period in the middle of a sentence?) Or you'll find yourself asking WTF happened. (Period or question mark here?)

I guess I could have made this all one paragraph...but (again, no comma) my writing pals tell me that's not correct." (I'm starting to think this is a joke. It is, right?)

In creative writing?

Yea...pretty sure I didn't make that statement either.

Now see if TER will hire you to correct all the grammar here and you wouldn't have to suck and fuck to make money.

That should be a multi million dollar contract...so get going

I didn't say that. All I'm saying is you're critiquing someone's writing and you can't write for shit. If you want to base your evidence on someone's future in writing from a post on a public forum, write well yourself.

Night hottie. XOXO

I just expected a little more.

Would you like me to proofread your resume? A prospective employer shouldn't have to.

Proof reading is a good thing, but this is a discussion board. Not a résumé. ;) I don't see any posts asking for a writing sample or résumé. Do you?

So you're correction as you determine it above was just for what purpose?

Oh...to pretend to show you know grammar.

Yep...stay on your knees.  At least that way you can pay your rent!

Y'all are crazy. Writing well does not equate to intelligence...it only equates to knowing how to articulate. My ex is a CEO who can't write for shit, but he makes over 200k a year in La. which is a lot of money lol. He can't spell, does not know proper sentence structure, nor can he tell when to properly use "your" and "you're." Still, he has 30 years of respect in a field I could only dream of having by the time I am 50. Compared to most, his writing skills suggest he never even finished high school.

My writing has regressed a bit since finishing school, because I no longer have to sit there for days on end doing nothing but writing. Other than Managerial Accounting and Finance, grad school was NOTHING but writing. It is amazing how not doing something every day can have an impact on your abilities...It's like you forget the most simplistic concepts. Or, it could be the pot bwahhahaaha.

in this manner before they begin to edit, and prepare the piece to be published.
It never occurred to me I was reading "The New Yorker" or "The Atlantic",  therefore I don't expect literary perfection on these Boards..... Just perfection behind closed doors, in front of open blinds....Hell on the balcony for that matter.

completely wrong.

I see it now. Thanks for the input.

Don't know if I would have done the same thing in your situation.  But it makes PERFECT SENSE.

See there RT can admit when he is wrong:)

RT Says:

Most HR people are stupid.  Don't get me started on my horror interview stories

lol wrong about what? You asked a good question.

It was fly to another state and do this for a while, (off the radar,) or live in my car the next week, then lose my car the next, and live on the streets. People call you lazy, people call you trash, but until they have to try to get a job after being unable to walk for a year on and off? It's really, really hard to recover from something like that... and it's a very scary thing to go through... especially when it happens in front of everyone at work. Yeah, like they are going to re-hire me lol.

But, I'm happier than I've been in my life, even doing this for a while, because I can walk, talk, laugh, fuck, etc. etc. etc. and I'm having a blast living, eating, moving around, driving, like I used to... I just have a different means of income to get me by until I can get that normal middle-class life I had.

May I ask something... if we all got great, (or mediocre,) jobs, there wouldn't be any escorts anymore. Then what would happen? You guys seem to be having a ton of fun. :)

many manifestations these days and one can get a degree from many sources so, unless someone can do something complex professionally just saying, I have a College Degree is meaningless.

In reality, many may have degrees in subjects you may have never heard off or thought such degrees exist.

You claim to be so educated, then post retarded crap like this. If you truly had all the degrees you claim, you would know that even with a Master's Degree and no experience, starting pay is about 40k BEFORE taxes, unless you major in Nursing or Engineering. A 4 year Business Degree has you making less than 15 bucks an hour out of the gate. An MBA with no experience and without knowing someone who can get you a job, makes just a little more.

So please, go back to YOUR one room school house, and get a fkin clue. You are an absolute moron to think that providers who only work HERE about 4 hours a week, are not doing something else along with it. We would starve to death. Everyone I know above age 25, has at least a Bachelors Degree. That goes for 'most' providers and every friend I have in the real world.

And, you have two incomes (you and your wife) that helped you pay back your loans. Not all of us have that luxury, nor do we fk around on the very person who helped us pay back those loans. Most of the women here are single moms getting ZERO child support, so why don't you go fk yourself. We do what we can go so your children can grow up in a nice home and go to a good school where they don't have to worry about being bullied or having a gun pointed at their head before reaching high school!

You ask "why would anyone with a college degree do this?" Because, for a certain point in time, it's fast money that allows us to do other things, like working part time in the field or doing an internship. Because if not for men's urges who are willing to do and pay about anything to get a nut, we would NOT be in business. We learned to use you the way you use us. Can't be all that uneducated and realize how easy it is to get a man to pay us for sex lol.  Hope that answers your question.

None of that addresses the issue of your stupidity. FYI, I've been married TWICE dumb ass, and another one is coming. You must think it's an honor to be married to a guy who lies and fks around?  HA! Sorry kiddo, but once you've been around the block, you realize that most men are only good for a few hours a week, and marriage is not what you're looking for.  Shall we try this again? Heh.
