For example, if the discussion is about her favorite tunes, then I don't see how that affects my desire to see her or enjoy her.

I think it is about respect. How can you not have respect for someone who you either had or want to have this personal time with? If you don't respect them you shouldn't be there. I do think opinion matters. It is like any other business. Business owners want their customers to be happy so they come back or gain you quality business by word of mouth, the most profitable customer is the one you didn't have to advertise for. On the other side, I think a bad reputation spreads fast and the next thing you know you are being blacklisted. It is important for both sides to maintain a good opinions of each other.
Sometimes I feel, this GB board can be too critical and too brutal about providers. While i agree WE or I may not always have the BEST opinions in different subject matters, as gentlemen it doesn't kill to listen and not to be too critical or dismissal.
Some of you really need to be a little nice....and kindly care about what we have to say.

If you find jealousy repugnant when you see it in others, maybe it is because you remember feeling jealousy, and found it undesirable, painful, ugly, and degrading. We don't want to experience such a feeling again, even if it's only an experience with of dealing with a jealous person's behavior.
Just an opinion. There are lots of opinions around.
Is that both parties in this hobby, at times, try and make it more than it is.
On one hand you have someone seeking fantasy and release and on the other you have another who attempts to provide said fantasy and be compensated for that attempt.
What each party takes away from those interactions is really their own perception. Nothing else matters. Just like in the non hobby world there are guys with beer bellies and earrings who think they are God's Gift and Women who obviously did not look in a mirror on her way out to the club or bother to tone down the half bottle of "Lady Midnight" or whatever the fragrance counter is selling.

As a genral rule other than a very few people, I don't give a damn about others opinion about me. This isn't any form of dismal of the validity of said opinion. Just I have more important things to worry about. People will think what they may.
I care about as much about the opinion of the woman I spent two hours with last Saturday night as she cares about the opinion of the man she spent two hours with last Saturday night. Pretty much the same with longer term relationships. If I live with a woman for eight years, her opinion of me is probably as important to me as my opinion of her is important to her. Funny how things generally work that way. Might be some exceptions, but no matter what else is going on, people like to be liked. Call us zany that way.
