Odd combinations

A few years ago I was with a provider who would not kiss but would happily do BBBJCIM. Today, I was with a provider who would not takeoff her mask (even though she and I are both double vaccinated) but would have been fine not using a condom. To be clear, I insisted on covering up.  I just find it odd that people make such inconsistent choices

In your kissing vs CIM example, she might not kiss men in this business because she only kisses her SO and she saves that special, intimate act only for him/her. That wouldn't be inconsistent at all, from her perspective.

This is how it goes..

$300 - 1 hr
$700 - 2 hrs.

Now anyone who is a bit business savvy, knows that its a good practice to reward a customer with a lower price if they are buying more quantity.  Hooker Math not only penalizes you for booking 2 hrs, but also you can easily score a lower price by booking two, one hour sessions.. Not sure if you have to step out and come back in or not, or you can just continue with your business, should you book two, one hour sessions LOL.

You will see some crazy ass shit in this business.. That's why I love it.. LOL

Now the kissing part, I call totally understand that some don't want to kiss Johns, as they prefer to reserve is for their BFs / Husbands etc. The part where she wants to keep her mask on, but ok to go bare is crazy..  But like I said. Hooker Math..

that did this to discourage two hour bookings.  They preferred one hour, because they got tired doing two hours, so if a customer wanted two hours, he had to pay more.   I told one that I would  save money if I booked one hour in the morning then then booked another hour in the afternoon.  She said she had no problem with that.  Lol

People lack understandng of the risks associated with various behaviors, and don't consistently act in ways that mitigate risks in their lives even when they have some understanding. This was true long before COVID.

With COVID, this existing tendency has been exacerbated by failure on the part of the public health authorities to communicate clearly and update their guidance based on new knowledge. For example, it's only recently that the CDC has updated its guidance to reflect the fact that wearing masks outside in everyday circumstances isn't doing anything to prevent or slow spread, since COVID is very difficult to transmit outside. This has been well understood since at least last summer, but I walk around my neighborhood in the DC area and see many people wearing masks outside. I know people who are still wiping down their groceries, long after it was understood that COVID spread through fomites is extremely rare if it happens at all. Plus the overlay of politics (my tribe wears masks or doesn't wear masks) complicates everything, since people have gotten locked in to certain beliefs and are resistant to change them, even when presented with strong evidence.

So I don't blame people for being kind of whacky with this stuff. With the number of US COVID deaths now under 400 per day and falling rapidly (headed toward auto fatalities at about 100 per day), I expect to see even the super-cautious shake out of this in the next few weeks.
