Cautionary tales... I made some major errors. A few months back while in a strip club I exchanged numbers with one of the girls.. whom I had seen for the first time there. She implied that she sees people at her home sometimes, though it was never specified what exactly would occur. Text messages went on for a while after.. then a request for a hundred bucks for some emergency. Which was done at a Target lot. Then it was a request for 500 bucks as she had car trouble and her daughter needed to go to and from school. This I delivered to her place.
Then.. a request for a thousand bucks. With the notification that she had taken a picture of my license number. And she had kept copies of all the texts. And that she would go to the police if she didn't get the money. So.. she got the money. At a grocery. I then finally went online to my cell provider and chose the option to block the number.
They seem to have had some sort of technical error that removed the blocking option. Suddenly today I got texts and threatening messages, which I have not responded to. No more appealing to how her daughter needs help.. now its just comments that soon I'll have my 5 minutes of fame, and to stop that I know what I need to do.
Clearly I should have changed my phone number and my license plate earlier.. but I didn't. I don't think any texts specifically mentioned sex.. but I really don't remember. And I'm concerned that she could find my house if she has my license number.
So.. I don't really know what to do. I'm not married or anything, so thats not a problem. I do work for a state agency, so that might be a problem. It's been.. educational.
I'll post this in the general discussion and the legal boards. Sigh.
Obviously I made one major rookie mistake of not having a separate phone... and of jumping too soon at an ooportunity. Stupid loneliness..
What exactly is she going to extort you for doing?
I would roflmfao if any woman tried to extort me for fucking her. This is a completely empty threat, her only leverage on you appears to be your job. She has much more to lose than you. If she contacts your employer, you have her texts blackmailing you, at the most she could get you fired (unlikely), but she would most definitely go to jail on felony extortion charges in the process.
Your biggest mistake was giving her any money in the first place. Don't compound the error, inform her that any further extortion attempts will be forwarded to LE. She probably won't believe you at this point because you wimped out earlier, but you havn't been replying to her texts as of late and she hasn't done jack.
Fucking a stripper for money might be illegal, but just barely. LE is going to have no interest in you as a criminal, they do OTOH frown on blackmail. You have all the cards, quit worrying about this ROB

Yup. I'm usually smarter than this. I'm always cautious in my life. An hour of stupidity and I'm paying for it.
Or did you mean the story made no sense? lol
I accidentally hit send ![]()
If you aren't married what are you afraid of? If you've saved her texts she would be in more trouble for the extortion than you would for solicitation. Believe me she won't go to the police. I would report it myself and have the police arrest her when she collects the money. At the very least STOP PAYING HER!!!
-- Modified on 12/10/2010 11:40:51 PM
Ah, ok.. lol... thats what the rest of your message said.. I have no intention of paying her anything more. I was debating going to the police just now but have not as yet. Don't know if - being in Ohio - that would lead to more problems for myself or not!!!
I only have her current texts and phone message saved.. unfortunately. I thought the problem had gone away, especially as she seemed pretty contrite last time I saw her. Naive, stupid. Yes.
Should have read the newbie boards right in the beginning but have been an irregular hobbier for a couple of years and had no problems so I guess I let my guard down.. never again!!!!
It sounds like all you did (nothing illegal) was help her out and then she extorted you. Your service provider has here texts. If you go to the police, they can get the text messages with your permission. Just remember to do it for her number only. Let's hope you don't use this phone to hobby too... Hmmm?????
Changing your phone/license plate will do nothing. If she has the access necessary to read those records, then she can also get the previous owner/user of those things.
Hell, you could tell her that unless you get your money back you'll take the text messages to the police. Make it reasonable, like $.50 on the $1. If she pays up, offer to call a truce. Consider the fee a good lesson.
but is probably about as illegal as her extortion.
I wouldn't do this unless you consult with an attorney to find a "legal" way to accomplish this. I seriously doubt that you're going to see a single cent come back, and good lawyers are very pricey. I'd be willing to bet that after you tell your lawyer about this he'll counsel you to just forget the whole matter.
My advice is to post about it on your local board giving where she works and her name so that TER readers don't fall for her crap. Maybe her boss will be reading and can her ass which would be nice.
99% of the time gals who go the extortion route never make good on their threats. If they did, they'd be toast. They just go for as much as they can and whatever they get they are happy with. The more you give, the more they ratchet up their demands. That's how that works.
I only had one case of extortion where a gal threatened to "out" me to my wife. What she didn't know is that my wife already knew about my hobbying, so I just ignored her and she disappeared after a few more calls.
(to the op): Thanks for posting this cautionary tale. I hope it helps to prevent this happening to other TER members.
I am not married and I fuck strippers, escorts, civvie women, you name it and if they are attractive, I'll give it a shot. lol
I have no intention of altering my behavior, the chances of me sticking to "well reviewed TER ladies" is absolutely zero.
OTOH, the chances of some cunt extorting me out of a nickel are the same, absolutely zero. That's why many of us stay single, so we can fuck who we want with impunity. Not to mention it's also much, much cheaper. lol
Right now I am more vulnerable to being outed than normal do to having someone to protect that is needing my vigilance right now, but I still would not cave. It will only encourage further extortion attempts.
Right now because of this I am not hobbying outside of legal Nevada brothels for the time being.
Virtually all extortion statutes require that a threat must be made to the person or property of the victim. Threats to harm the victim's friends or relatives may also be included. It is not necessary for a threat to involve physical injury. It may be sufficient to threaten to accuse another person of a crime or to expose a secret that would result in public embarrassment or ridicule. The threat does not have to relate to an unlawful act. Extortion may be carried out by a threat to tell the victim's spouse that the victim is having an illicit sexual affair with another.
Sounds like you would have a strong case if you saved her texts or voice messages.
Thanks... I've backed up these texts to MS MyPhone, in case I accidentally delete them! Will still change my number, I think.
Agreed. If you do take action, don't skimp on what attorney to use. Get a good one. What with her demands, it is highly likely she won't be able to afford a lawyer. Even if the guy she buys crack from went to law school, a good attorney would tear her to pieces with just what you've described here. I'm sure there's more details that will help.
Good luck.
I'm calling BS on her being able to do anything with your license plate number. The law (DPPA) doesn't allow individuals to gain info on other individuals with just a license plate number. Seems like she's bluffing...
Wiki link to DPPA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drivers_Privacy_Protection_Act
Wow sounds like the David Letterman Blackmail incident. I'm guessing next comes the letter pay me or I tell everyone you go home with strippers... Seriously though txt msgs can be supena through a judge if it came down to it. If you kept the txt msg.. This makes it so much easier.
summary: "Request for $1000 , has a picture of license plate, will go down to police, then she stupidly reply she will have her 5 minutes of fames. Sounds like BlackMail, but I am no Lawyer..
Stalking is illegal too, but I guest that is another story.... Good luck...
You should have gone to the police because she threatened you and took a picture of your license plate for the sole purpose of extorting money.
You have got to think with your head instead of your dick!
Show some balls. No one here can help with "No Balls Syndrome" (NBS), it seems permeate the scene.

which you NEVER should have done & was the beginning of an extortion plot. Now that it's gone this far, you only have 2 options : call the bitch's bluff & threaten to go to the cops.
If she doesn't back down, then you have to go to the police. You have no other options.
Tell her if she keeps fucking with you you will go to the management of the club and expose her ass for "working" the customers. Tell the management what she is doing. They will deal with her for you. She will be fired and blackballed from every workplace in the area. Club owners don't want working girls who come to the attention of management or worse LE. Fight back.

your not married, so you don't have to worry about losing 1/2 of everything you own.
You know where she lives, but does she know where you live?? that would be my only concern.
If she doesn't know where you live, then go to the police department (i'm hoping you have her REAL name) and pay the $1.50 and get her criminal record. (dancers have 3 things: bad credit, a drug addiction, and a criminal history) Mail her criminal record to her. I used to work in a club, and almost every dancer had a warrant for something stupid, or at least time on the shelf.
Drop her note with the record saying you'll take her text messages to the police for extortion and you're going to file an EPO (emergency protection order) against her.
It's hardball, but you will never hear from her again.
You haven't committed a crime, but she has. You don't need a lawyer, just go to the police and press charges.
The advice about going to the management of the club is a great plan for many reasons. She'll get fired on the spot, and word will travel quickly. You'll still be welcome in the club, and she won't be shaking down other clients there as well.
Dancers are the easiest lay in the world without spending a dime, but that would have to be another thread...
If you are not married --or don't care-- I would go to the copsand charge her with blackmail. If married, change your phone and forget it.
Thanks for the replies, guys... It's been an educational experience, as I said. I'm currently just ignoring, and nothing further has happened - hopefully it will go away! If it persists, I feel more comfortable in going to the police if needed.
I would not put up with such behavior. Just ask my cousin who WAS a vice cop that tried to out me with minimum proof. My wife and father beat me to filing complaints about him conduct though. So he was suspended before I could take action. I am the nice out when it come to this kind of stuff in my family and I will come at such a lady with everything legal I can.
They are used to competing with the girl next to them and it's there job to try and take every penny you can spare in the club. I'm not surprised that taking it outside the "office" she's doing the same thing. That's not to say that dancers are bad, but their business is inherently different in compensation/service then ours.
Strippers that is not dancers. I only say this because when your constantly being encouraged to take it begins to show in other parts of your life. I don't think most girls that strip are capable of such compartmentalization. Actually I don't think most people are able to do this. I believe there are exceptions. One of my best friends is a stripper, but she has threatened my life if I try to date one.
I don't get this at all. You gave her money when she asked for it, thinking you were going to get pussy?
And you actually didn't receive any kind of services, and you kept giving her money?
Has anybody in this thread called you an idiot yet?
So what if she has a picture of your license. A civvie can't do anything with that. And your only crime is that you are a lunkhead. She said she would go to the police? And say what? That you gave her money? Is that illegal? Of course she won't go to the police, she's probably got an outstanding warrant on something.
Tell the club that she did this shit to you. She'll be out on the street.
Try to think with your big head next time.
I've called myself one.. would that count? lol..
Yes, big head much better at the thinking...
I am sorry about your misadventure. Yes, you made mistakes, she played you & you were taken. You have learned some life lessons here. I don't mean to rub salt in the wound... many of us have made mistakes, some lesser & I'm sure some worse. By sharing, you have saved many others from making this same mistake.
Sorry this was at your expense, but thank you for your honesty.
