Its been raining all day here in DC. Now I know why. Truly a sad day.

Saturday at 1pm, Former President Ronald Reagan passed away. 40th president of the United States, died today at his home in California. He was 93 years old and had been suffering from Alzheimer's disease.


One of the greatest Presidents this country has ever and will ever see. May your soul rest in peace President Regan, the entire nation mourns your loss.... and you will always be remembered as the president who brought us through one of the toughest times. Goodbye and God Bless

Cold War oblivion.  As was SDI ("star wars").  It worked.  Within his life time, the "other" superpower was gone.

Did it have a tremendous cost to us, the U.S. taxpayers?  Yes.  Was it worth it?

Nonsense. The Soviet had an understanding of the physics of charged particles was superior to our. They knew the claims could not be lived  up to.  Many scientists stated it was fraud. In the worst scenario,  it would have triggered a life ending war before it was implemented. All the ussr needed to take western europe was feet.

SOLIDARITY ended the soviet union. In Poland and Russia the troops didn't fire on the people, in China they did. That's why there is no ussr and there is a Communist China with nukes that can hit the U.S, is the cold war over?

Bad enough his life ended with a prolonged wimper,
but the autopsy will be worse.

When Lincoln was shot, there was no autopsy
But a healing of a kind.

He was dead by '95, but his body ceasing now brings news.  

And there is no god to bless him.
No rest, no peace.
