I think I need a prepaid DEBIT card for some personal business I need to attend to so my SO won't learn about it.
But all I found so far are cards that require a name and address.
I can't risk disclosing that for this purpose as when the card is issued I have to explain it. Don't know how to avoid suspicion. Are there cards without names  and addresses on them?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The only prepaid card which can be used as a real credit card, for online purchases ( like TER membership) is the AMEX prepaid gift card.

It does require SS number, but you can put any name on it, and the address is ofcourse required for delivering the card. You can use a friend's address or a PO Box,... The card will have the name which you made up on it and your privacy is safe.

Prepaid M/C worked fine for my TER membership. Do you have to list your real name when you register the card?

I bought my prepaid card at the grocery store. I don't remember if they asked for any other info than my name when I registered it when I went online. I see the cards for sale everywhere - office supply stores come to mind...

I'd be surprised to find any truly anonymous card.

Paypal now offers a sevice that generates one time use Master Card (multi-use if at the same vendor/retailer). I haven't yet signed up since it required a bank account number and bank routing info. So it seems to work just like a debit card.
