Having been through black masks and sox, back in the 60's college days, and the revolution of color, videotape, and heroic attempts at scripts, lovely actresses, enhanced breasts.  I've noticed a few differences recently.  First, the increased attention to anal which doesn't interest me.  More intriguing is a new practice of penetration, withdrawal, and re-penetration, repeated multiple times.  Is this an appeal to men, or the influence of women directors?  Do ladies find this erotic? This is separate from the finer new quality of porn.  Do these differences appeal to you ladies?  In my personal hobby, I've always noticed that penetration, even with a seasoned professional, is a unique event eliciting reactions of both power, and vulnerability.  But is it pleasureable?

Now they have they have interviews and "behind the scenes" stuff.  The producers and directors don't hide anymore. It indicates that not only is there less shame with producing porn, but that the audience likes to see that stuff and wants to get to know the pornstars better. It is a different world.

If there was a woman director who wasn't interested in making money, then pornos might actually have some great lovemaking. Unfortunately, some men actually think that is what we (women) want. That's why women sound so phony when they're panting, etc., on film.  Real lovemaking probably wouldn't be as much of a turn-on to a guy who wants to watch porn, because -- after all -- he wants to see something different. Just my opinion.

However, the teasing part of pulling in and out a few times is fun, but not for long.

Some of the early porn, like with Annete Haven's movies, was very sensual. I had a few scenes from it-- of course it was all made on film, but I'm surprised at how soft, yet explicit it was.  

I've known a few women who were enthralled by porn.  The biggest collection I've ever seen was a woman's collection. Belladonna, the biggest pornstar these days has quite a few women fans.    

These days, the videos you buy in the store are losing out to things you could just pick up for free anywhere on the internet. That's why the old studios are doing freakier things, just to try to maintain their audiences.

They might even have to go back to the basics of script, acting, directing and plot.

I think it has alot to do with teasing. Teasing is so sensual, and exciting, and you anticipate the re-entry. When it doesn't come...you feel lost, and well kinda lonely, then when re-entry is introduced it brings such a huge smile to my face, and I feel so FULL! For some they can take it or leave it...others it just adds to the excitement. but those are just my thoughts...
