Which is probably what your using unless you have been around long enough to know there was an old "classic" version. The search button is in a dark (black?) rectangle immediately above the first thread at the top of the discussion board page. 2nd one over toward the right of the page/screen. If your on a phone it may not show. Not sure about that as I don't use a smart phone but I've heard from others that sometimes everything doesn't show when using a phone.
