are reluctant to give me their full names and social security numbers so I can complete a Form 1099 to give them with their donation.  I guess I can sort of understand their desire for privacy, but on the other hand I don't want to run afoul of the tax laws.  How do you other guys handle this?

a date & time stamped/signed receipt for one's donation is certainly not out of the question anymore.

I'd rather call them "vendors" than contractors, besides that way they can simply send me an EIN instead of a SSN, it's so much less intrusive that way. lol

Right, dont' see how provider donations will work in a tax form. Well maybe Congressmen know how to do it with their buddies in the IRS and all that.

that all providers become ordained in "The Church Of Sex". Thus donations are, umm, donations and tax-deductible.  

They make the rules and wright the laws.
