Provider with reviews Shows up with Aunt Flo

This will not get ever be reviewed officially.
So, for background, she had more than 5 reviews on TER, given she lists on bp, and they were all good from longtime mongers. She also runs her own website.  
She's 28 yo or so. Artist type.

I call her for a 2 hr outcall to my hotel.  
First cup - she bbbjs to a pearl necklace.
It was not bad. I was impressed when she aggressively walked in and pushed me down on the bed to deliver it.
Little did I know there could be another reason. Still no disclosure yet.  
So , I move to strip her panties and DATY (yes I do sometimes, lol).
At that point, she waves me off and says she's on her period. Wtf!

She encourages me to try the p for FS  because she says it's only light spotting.  
I'm skeptical but it was a first time non-civvie situation for me.
Who was she kidding?  It was like the My Lai vilage in there...I ended up bagging the sheets for the maid and tipping the maid extra. That was only from trying once.
Now there's over an hour left and one  hole left.
It likely would be different with a Greek provider.

On one hand, these things happen and maybe she only just learned of her issue.
However, I feel like she tricked me somewhat from doing a walk away. Guess she needed the money badly.
And i doubt i could have walked away after being two cups up. (I finished #2 in a facial.)

It's not a total loss but im curious if I could've directed things differently.
Where does the responsibility lie?  
I presumed it's always a partial lemon and I'm the one left sucking it.
Anyway, lesson learned, but I hope most ladies have a better protocol for these things.

What was the rate, I am wondering?

She sounds like a broke ho who can't afford to take a week off per month, so if you went for cheap, you got what you got. I find this story a bit disgusting, but you're naive to think most hourly hookers can afford to take off that week, unless they are doing this part time. The average provider in my circle, works only 10 days per month, if that. You should have sent her on her way to be honest, and yea... write the review, because that is just plain gross. Any possible STD risk just escalated in this situation, so not only is she gross, but stupid to boot.

Wow.  That is some crazy shit.  I always call a date if there is a hint of a problem that might interfere with any expected point of access - it's his call whether or not to proceed.

Posting about the situation here is one way to get the message to her, but you might consider contacting her directly with your feedback.  It's too late for your benefit, obviously, but you might be helping that future monger who sees her under similar circumstances!

Shit vs Bullshit

Shit happens:  One time (not a plot - just a true story) a guy's cock started bleeding mid-session.  He was absolutely mortified.  I gave him 1/2 the fee back and we parted ways.  (Turned out all the enthusiastic oral action injured his poor urethra.)

last week I sort of dealt with the same issue

Went to see my ATF.. we text almost every day..5 days before she told me that she was having her period ...Ok, time passes... 1. She's not expensive for nyc  but not bargain basement - $600/2h.  
2. She had something going on to prevent her from taking the week off.  
I presumed a drug problem.

Could I have walked away? Sure. Perhaps I should have.

At the same time, I actually don't see a value in reviewing her. Or id probably just give a mediocre review but mask the real issue. I thought she was a nice woman and didnt really do anything malicious- just desperate. Agree with you that shes not a pro yet. She's still working out her game. There's a good chance she won't stay in the business.  But in the near term, my detailed negative review on top of her few will probably hurt her fledgling business a great deal. And i think she learned a lesson. While I didn't walk out, my grumbling made it clear the whole thing was not cool and I would not be returning. I don't think i'm hurting the next guy. That's my call. I do make exceptions once in a while

Do not assume all ladies know when it is going to occur, I have never known. I do let confirmed appointments know if it shows up, make them aware not everything is on the menu and let them make a decision. Of course, I don't makr any further appointments until the coast is clear.

You could be HELPING her by making it clear (by your review) that guys don't want that and now she knows better.  If the prelim Q comes up, she can answer with a definitive assertion of "I've learned my lesson! I'll never do that again. I'm good to go!"
And i think she learned a lesson.
But with no review, the lesson learned might be "hooked another sucker!"

I think it is kind of you to refrain from posting a review. A detailed review like that could certainly hurt her business badly, and even if it didn't, it would almost certainly embarrass her very much.  

Without any input from the provider, none of us know what really happened. It is possible that it had just started, and she genuinely didn't know how bad it was (i.e. thought it was just light spotting) or she thought you wouldn't mind. Some guys really don't think it is that big of a deal; others will freak out at the sight of a tiny spot. Most fall somewhere in-between. It's possible she may have issues unbeknownst to us that don't let her take a week off (I can think of some, not necessarily drug habits). Of course, it is also possible she just is kind of new and doesn't understand that it is definitely not something gentlemen are happy about paying for.  

Either way, it is clear she needed your business very much. I just feel sorry rather than disgusted by someone in that position. :(

One thing that kind of sucks about getting your period (especially if you're like me and have no idea when it will come) is that it's a lose-lose situation. I had a client once get very upset when I had to cancel on him due to mine starting, but if I had showed up with it, he would have been even angrier.. Just not a fun situation for anyone involved.

I do agree that she should have let you know in advance, so you could decide whether or not you wanted to proceed. That's the only logical move, I think. A discount on the session, or more time added on would have also been a smart idea. But, I am glad you have some compassion for her and have refrained from writing a lurid review. Everyone makes mistakes, and I'm sure she now knows to stay home during that time of the week from now on. ;)

Its Happened to me.

Its happened to me several times. All with providers I knew. Fortunately their aunt arrived while we were having dinner. They always informed me of the arrival before the fun began and offered me some options. Most of the ladies I know will offer FBSM during this time if they want to continue to work.  Its strange but I know what time she arrives for several of the ladies I see.  

You would think in a industry where communication on these kind of thing is better she would have said something sooner.

Not necessarily true...

I, honestly, never know.  It can sometimes be 2x/month, every 6-8 weeks, etc.

I have never been able to judge, that's me and I have always had to live with it.  Believe me, I have found myself in some embarrassing  moments and I'm not speaking about the hobby.

For the OP, though, you should have been informed and made the decision.  This just happened to me on Friday, I had 2 confirmed appointments and I wake up Friday AM and am " What the hell? "  I contacted both clients and let them decide.  One kept the appointment, the other choose not too.  Obviously, I didn't make any other appointment.  Sunday AM and I was already set to go again, some of us are just like that.

My guess is she thought she was so great at BBBJ, you would want her to keep doing that vs. covered FS.
