not getting caught

I was wondering how you protect yourself from sting law enforcement set up ? I see you recommend a lot of screening …but not sure it will help if hooker is “convinced” by law enforcement that it is either her or couple of clients that she will burn. All the greatest reviews will not help if she knowingly sets u up to trade her life over yours. I talked with a lawyer about it and he recommend that I deposit some money into his escrow account and keep his business card in my wallet. If I get caught, do not talk to police, call him and let him handle the rest. He also mentioned that I should never negotiate any rate and never use  email, txt or anything that leaves permanent trace. Never have my fingerprints on the donation either. He also mentioned that there are certain defenses he can use to beat the charges such us : entrapment, insufficient evidence etc. …so I was wondering if that will work …we know her rate is for example $300 an hour…put $300 cash in the envelope on the dresser quickly and never even pretend it was yours…if they have cameras in the room it will not help …hence I would set it up in “my” place rather than in some shabby motel. Never talk about the rate or argue …I would have a conversation about how beautiful she looks and what she likes doing or some other nonsense..just make it less like a transaction  ...new to this ..just got divorced so I dont care if someone finds out...

wants you to only see streetwalkers.  Good luck with that.   Here is what you do . . . . .

Only see providers that are well-reviewed and have a profile and contact info on TER.  The chances of it being an LE sting are nearly zero.  LE stings do not set up long-term stings, so your chances of getting busted seeing a girl with reviews going back a year or longer is nearly non-existent.  If you see an ad somewhere, the first thing you do is go to TER and see if she is listed, and for how long, read the reviews and make contact by telephone or email using a dedicated hobby phone number or email.  Its not complicated.

You are more likely to catch an STD from a sex worker than get arrested whilst seeing a well reviewed established provider.

Your lawyer is right about not talking to the Police, and sure if you want to send him some money as a retainer, that's fine too, but really he is trying to scare you into thinking that you are doing some high risk crime like dealing drugs.  To not have any email trail, text messages, fingers on the money... Duh.. How you gonna see anyone dude?

Do you know the political trend is actually going in the direction of not prosecuting prostitution charges. It's already started in big cities. Sooner it will be more acceptable, and lets hope it will get legalized soon.

So don't worry.. Just wear your rubber and hobby on..

Yeah.. They should really worry about upgrading their electric grid before arresting Johns for seeking sex.

While I am very much against the trend, given the loss of cops to WOKE funding cuts and VAC mandates, I think LE has more important things to be concerned with.

I live in a small town which is still back in the stone age.

Email and text msgs are weak evidence. In a sting you will be recorded/witnessed discussing sex for money. That's the kind of evidence they want. The other stuff is too weak to stand on it's own. So avoid talking sex/money with the escort when you are on site.

all great points. thanks. as far as STD...;-) ...when I read those reviews it is beyond me how someone can "dfk" a hooker ..or let her blow you without condom ...or someone wrote how he was licking hooker pussy ...damn ...all it takes is herpes outbreak inside her mouth or in vagina ..and u r done ...amazing courage ...

In reality police are always one or more steps behind us (both hobbyists & providers).  Listen closely and beware of the tell tail signs of conversation s & etc.

As others have pointed out, the probability of getting caught in a sting seeing a reviewed provider is nearly zero.

Stings are one of the significant risks for those participating in the streetwalker scene, but there is a standard procedure for those where the lure is a cop and the other cops wait until you do something incriminating to jump in. So most of your lawyer's advice wouldn't really apply.

In the days when BackPage was going strong I heard of unusual cases where law enforcement lured guys into stings with BP ads, and this is a situation where your lawyer's advice might apply. I haven't heard of a case like this since BP was shut down and ad sites proliferated. If you're answering an ad on whatever site is popular in your area for a girl that doesn't have another web presence and isn't reviewed, getting NCNS'd, ripped off, or fooled by fake pictures are all more significant risks than the police.

AMPs do get busted sometimes. If you are unlucky enough to be caught in one when it gets busted, your lawyer's keep quiet advice would certainly apply.

Years ago I sat on a jury for a murder trial.  Shaken baby situation, horrible.

Even though the guy was guilty as hell, I learned to never talk to the cops without counsel.

During cross examination by the defense, the detectives openly discussed tricks and procedures to get the accused to talk.

Chilling.

Dude was convicted and sent to prison for life.

I hope he explained the "Crime/Fraud" exception to the Attorney Client Privilege.  A decent prosecutor might be able to make a case he wasn't your lawyer so much as he was a co-conspirator. Hard to believe any lawyer who doesn't advertise on the side of a bus would want to have such a conversation.

on the state. You should read your state's prostitution statutes.

I know in some states the statutes only require "intent" - so no money has to change hands, etc.

So a lady has an ad, with rates, etc and it's pretty obvious what it's about. You show up to see her with a wad of cash in an envelope. It's probably not too difficult to convince a jury of your intent.

And yes, NEVER speak to the police. Law professor James Duane has a great video out there:

Watch it and learn from it. Even if you are innocent, don't open your mouth. You can very easily and unwittingly implicate yourself.
