Do any of you guys have experience actually meeting a girl from a web cam site?  I have heard that some providers use these sites when they are not on tour. From the hobbyist perspective, it would be nice to check out a new provider rather than just judge her from her photos.

But I did know a girl that did web cam work.  It was odd, because her husband did some lame job there too, and he seemed to be sponging off of her.  Our involvement with each other didn't last long.  I didn't like the idea of her work supporting his lazy ass.

I happen to a know a gal who provides and also does webcam work. She doesn't use the cam work to look for escorting business. She has cam customers from all over the world and it is a completely different enterprise than her escorting. Different name, different phone numbers, the works.
She screens her escorting customers and she keeps a low profile-no face shots-on her escorting site. You can't screen cam guys, and you really don't want a guy who has seen your face to know that you escort.

One thing to remember, due to 2257 laws most of these cam girls work through a third party rather than have to post their real name and address on their website. Any evidence of using the cam work to promote illegal activities could get both the girl and the company she works for in a lot of trouble.
