That is why you should spend the time to really screen them before you ever contact them. Sorry but fakes, frauds and LE is everywhere.
Honestly, when ever I am going to be in a city and want to find someone, I go to the review section, click "search reviews" enter the info I want into the filters and presto: There are all the profiles of the people I want to see along with their reviews.
I have never been burned as long as you go for someone with at least six good reviews by reviewers who themselves have written at least six reviews each.
Try it and see!
Of course, you should be VIP in order to be sure.

and TER VIP. I found it's almost impossible to keep VIP by reviews alone... but the cost is far less than a spoiled date or wasted opportunity.
I start on recent reviews, save those I'm interested in to my Favorites. (Can only access Favorites when VIP is in effect though it does not go away.) I check the ads & web site looking at pictures... I require several pictures (need not be explicit) but clearly showing her body type from several angles. Poor quality or insuffient picts is a pass. I cross this with the review reports on current pictures.
Then I look at reviews. Numbers are a very rough guide & the full review needs to be read. At least some need to be experienced reviewers... and agree with "all". Reviews are subjective & I expect some variation but not wide swings. It takes quite a few good reviews to offset one poor review (that can not be explained... often the review details do explain an otherwise good score).
The mere existance of TER REVIEWS does not mean that they are GOOD reviews. We often hear of ads with "TER REVIEWED" or even linked but the reviews are horrible! The ad is for playing suckers who are too cheap to check.
You might even PM the last couple of reviewers for more insight... though remember the other TER members do not know you & while telling you about the experience (most important is "Would they see her again") do not ask or expect information which might indicate stalking or breaching the lady's security protocals.
There is no single easy way to do this. Since each of us has different wants & needs... I could not pick for you nor you for me.

I think the key to your last message was PM'ing some of the last reviewers. SOme guys are pussys and they will not give you all the BAD detials in the reviews fearing the females will get upset with they. However, if you use the PM function they might tell you what really happened or how ugly or fat they really are.....HUMMMM
When you used to have to call an agency out of a phone book or hook up through other ads and you took your chances. Occasionally you would get lucky and have a really good time. There are just as many bad experiences out there now, but now you don't have to take a chance, you can get VIP and read the reviews fully and get just what you want most of the time. The problem is in the old days you very seldom got to look at the girls first so you knew it was a crap shoot, now you get all these nice pictures and many guys forget anyone can put up a picture. Even I have done it (as a help for a real provider) and you definitely wouldn't want me showing up at your hotel room. The best way to search is to use TER's search and get a list of girls who's reviews and description are what you want and then go back and look at their ads and websites. That way when her picture makes you start thinking with your little head, your big head already has researched and said its ok to continue.
When you calculate the true cost of seeing an escort back then, with no more than a 50% success rate after adjusting for all the ROB's and false ads, it's probably still a better value today even though rates have never been higher.

I did find a couple gems, though. One of them was a solid 9 and she became a "friends with benefits" for about four years.
The other was a 24 y.o. who was only a 7, or maybe an 8 on her best day, but she liked ALL kinds of sex- no exceptions. No negotiating or extra fees required with her- you told her what you wanted and she assumed the position. I miss her most of all!

I say that men should put ads, pics & reviews together. Reviews are great cause, I would hate to see a man that sees more than 3 ladies a week. The men provided the room and the covers (which I dislike buying) I feel funny at the counter. These days ladies have made a business, with incalls.

I've called an ad on Eros which turned out to be fake, in that it's a bait and switch, you end up with another escort entirely who wasn't on the phone or in the pics. But luckily I liked her, so I've seen her again, I wouldn't even say I was that burned.

but who submitted the reviews. I never use BP but check EROs daily. I know most the ads are fruadulent but many are legit. I only consider a lady if she has several reviews from established hobbyist. One or two reviews from dudes with no board history is a red flag. I know of no national site that is is risk free. So bottom line is be prepared TTOFTT or stick with highly reviewed ladies no matter where they advertise.
Some time back there was a thread along these lines and City-Source (LA area) was claimed to have authentic ads. One writer claimed to know the owner of the site and said that he checked each lady that advertised on his site.
