If a hobbyist asked, would you allow him/her to video tape the session? Would it be a flat out "no way"? Or would it be "negotiable"?

There's a few people I would trust enough for it.

Allowing any guy (or gal) to have video or face pics is a really bad idea.  

They may be good folks today...but tomorrow they may not be.  And good luck getting that shit back.  Unfortunately people do change.

Maybe naive but nothing beats karma.  

If I do get to be a famous entrepreneur, I will be so knowing that I never screwed anyone over. If this comes back to bite me, then my dislike for our society will be fortified. I like to believe in people and I have yet to be strongly disappointed.

Like the first responder said, it definitely takes a certain level of trust. I'm also not fond of cameras -- having my picture taken much less seeing myself on video. Knowing it will never be seen by anyone else helps me get over that feeling. That coupled with the fact that I don't want to ever take someone's trust for granted, whether anyone believes it or not, makes it so I will never share the videos with anyone. It's a fantasy that only the most generous of ladies have allowed me to enact, and I have nothing but gratitude for the few who have participated. Naturally, an accepted compensation was given at the time.

I was born in the year of the dragon. Like any dragon, I hoard my gold and protect it with my life. These videos are like gold to me.

The only risk I can see is when I become a second rate R&B singer and some paparazzi break into my place and somehow find and steal them. But then the ladies will possibly get their own shows and make millions. This could in the end be a winning situation for them though as it isn't hard to have more talent and be less annoying than a Kardashian.

All joking aside, it's a thrill making them and I hope to make more! Without getting into a debate over the ethics of what we're doing and this industry, it all comes down to being a decent human being and doing everything you can to minimize risks and make your intentions as clear and as honorable as possible. I'm enjoying my life the way it is, and wouldn't want to jeopardize my standing with any of these lovely ladies.

I do sound like I've made a ton, but I've only made four videos ever and the first one was on a PC that died on me. That hard drive suffered a horrible death afterward. That being said, my goal is to make enough of them to break my dependency on Internet porn! I hope to establish more good relationships where I can add to my collection. I compare it to getting the recipe to an awesome dish at your favorite restaurant. You can make it at home and it's pretty damn good, but you still go back to the restaurant because you can never get it as good as the real thing.

Most of us treasure our privacy immensely and because once the video is under someone else's possession anything can happen,  even if the person is meticulous enough e.g highly doubt Paris Hilton thought her homemade video was going to end up as "one night in Paris" but it sure did.  I guess some gals who are in porn wouldn't mind but not sure if as a guy, I would feel comfortable shooting those images. Remember, video is forever, and very hard to question whether or not you are the guy on the video because unlike pictures, video can't be modified that much.

and end it there. In this type of context, having this kind of activity on videotape spells disaster. Someone gets angry with you, 'poof'. There goes your life.

Now in reference to CPA's post about how a woman would respond to certain requests, this is probably where I would politely say, "go fuck yourself." LOL.

Some charge extra. Read reviews and check their websites. Many pornstar providers allow video.

but, that's not where I am nor where my life is headed. If a teacher can be fired for a tape she made at Spring Break her first year in college, I do not even want to think about what would happen to a CEO, Director, etc.  

I don't show my face all over the net, use my real name to escort, work from my own home, or post public blogs and nudity for this business, so I sure as hell would never let a CLIENT video tape an ILLEGAL act. I mean... duh.  

It's not so much about the other person being trusted, but about carelessness that can happen to anyone. Computers, cameras, and phones are lost and stolen every 10 seconds... why risk having your entire life on that device?  For those who don't aspire to do anything but escorting and porn, more power to them, but for those of us who have worked our asses off for something else, it would be asinine to take the risk.  

I am many things, but stupid is not one of them. I have never even let a pro photographer take pics of me... nope, they use MY camera so I have the memory card and control of the content.

I think it would be the dumbest thing anyone could do.  

No pictures of cash changing hands hopefully...  would be just another boring sex tape...   SO Only the realm of actresses whose careers need a boost to leak to get attention.  Considering how many gals act surprised when a sex tape gets made public there are a lot of gals making bad choices.

I get this question a lot and this is typically my answer.  Only I trust myself with my privacy and image.  If anything happens,  I know it's my fault and don't want anyone else having the power to use anything against me.  

Paris Hilton is a great lesson in trust. She trusted her boyfriend and he betrayed her. I just don't want to have to change my name to Josephine Hilton.

It would have to be a POV shot from behind without my face in the clip, and I'd have to review the clip before he left to make sure my face wasn't in the shot. This is why it would have to be a long-term regular who would follow my directions on how to tape it. I can think of a couple I've known for over five years and I'd let them tape a POV doggy style in a heartbeat.

I am an widower but with a limited amount of hobby experience. I'm also a photographer. With my 3 of my favorite ladies I have ask permission to video or take still photos of our fun and games. One had done some professional videos and she allowed (at no extra compensation) and used one of my stills in her ads.  
Another allowed and enjoyed doing stills until she got a real life boyfriend and she didn't feel right about continuing. I never showed any of them to anyone until a girl friend of hers ask me to see them. I ask my lady if I could show them and she agreed.

A third provider allowed stills of our activities for a long time but when she decided to retire we had a last time delete party. It was an emotionally charged encounter knowing that we wouldn't be seeing each other again.

I've ask others to allow it but they politely refused but I still see them and have given them clad photos for their private use.
