Is LA the Rip off Capital, I was bore so I look around the other area of this website, I find this link to Rip Offs and on every page about 1/2 of the review is on LOS ANGELES

It sad, but some of them makes for funny reading

What I don't understand is, why are men continuously seeing this lady, if she is a rip off? Just by reading some of the reviews and looking at the scores, wouldn't that tell anyone to stay away? Or, could this be a case of just trying to get a free membership by writing reviews on her? Are we supposed to feel sorry for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so on guy who have seen her? I can understand feeling sorry for the 1st person who have written the review about her. But why should we feel sorry for those who have followed suit KNOWING that she was a rip off? The first reviewer is telling others to stay away but it seems to me no one is heeding is advice.

I agree that it is mindboggling to see 4 or 5 bad reviews and guys keep going. Some even AFTER Ripoff review. HELLOOOOOO???????? It also seems to be consistent that the donation amount is low; $ or $$. Here is a hint guys, there is a site called The Erotic Review!!!!!!!!

the most difficult choice is the provider w/ 70% reviews of 7s, some 9s and some 3s. techncally, there are not ripoffs. it does makes you wonder if you should take the plunge.

Ok fellas I am really new to the hobby, but evidently I have been lucky to stumble upon the rules that keep you from having that ripoff experience. So here they are :

1) Don't pick anyone who has no reviews (in a city the size of LA this simply cannot be a problem)

2) Don't pick anyone with less than 4 reviews (I realize this encompasses rule 1 however since no one with a stiffy can ever follow directions correctly I'm giving you a fall back position)

3) When you look at the reviews for an escort click on the REVIWER and see how many escorts he has reviewed. If he only reviewed one then chances are excellent that this is the escort herself posting and, if the only review is from someone who has reviewed only one girl then its definitely the escort reviewing herself and a ripoff setup.

4) For close to ZERO risk simply get yourself a silent mentor. What's that you ask? Thats when you find a reviewer who has done tons of reviews for your area and you just cherry pick off his list. My example here is FORTITUDE (thanks bro!!) for South Florida. The guy has like 70 reviews of good escorts from my area so I picked girls off his list since he already did all the screening and trying out for me. Don't want to follow in someone else's footsteps? What are you mental? These are paid escorts there are no virgins here!! You are looking to give MR. Happy a good time! Why 'take one for the team' when you don't have to?

5) Almost every single ripoff on the LA page had one thing in common.....a DRIVER....(shiver)....INCALL = no 400lb gorilla at your door ripping you off!! And, should you show up at her place and you don't like what you see just walk away (or run if he's that big) and do someone else.

just because a guy is the n-th TER member to see (and review) a ripoff does NOT mean that he is necessarily a dunce or a lazy oaf ... this assumes that everyone has access to the previous reviews

someguys joined TER after a particularly egregious ripoff session ... case in point myself (see my first review, of Fantasy) ... they go to post a review/alert and realize that sho'nuff many have tread there before

But when I read the reviews, I noticed that the majority of viewers, have tons of reviews, before they decided to post a rip-off. Which leads me to believe that they were probably aware of the fact that the lady was a rip-off to begin with (if they are previous posters, they do then have access to reviews). This is just my point of view not neccessarily saying it's true, but it just seems strange to me.

I think the answer is simply that TER is best known out here on the west coast.  So you just get more total reviews, including, obviously, more ripoffs.

Once, in answering some bitching and moaning in San Diego, I did a quick count of SD ripoffs vs LA ripoffs.  It ran about 7:1.  Now in "close enough for government work" numbers, that's about the ratio of populations.

The conclusion is left as an exercise for the student.  This ain't rocket science.
