That does not surprise me at all.  I briefly considered working for an agency (I later decided it wasn't worth it and started working as an independent), and the fellow who ran it told me to start growing my hair out again.  It only grows so fast, though!

Most of the guys I know who prefer short hair are much younger.

Now take Snead O'Connor; that's short.

I kind of like it too, it a kinky sort of way, not unlike whats-her-name in Alien.

Long hair has it's definate plusses, but so does short hair.
