Signing up for a website doesn’t take more than a minute, and often all they are looking for is an email address and city so that they can post travel updates.
If I have to email a lady to ask for permission just to see the pictures on her site, she's off my list. Doesn't happen often, but often enough. When it does, I shake my head, smile, and move on. If I can't even see what she looks like without having to plead my case for being worthy, it tells me all I need to know about the lady.

do you consider providers who do not have "lookbook" and/or "gallery" pages but instead they have pictures on every page or at least thoroughly scattered throughout their website?
As long as I can see what you look like without having to email for permission. I just want to know whether the lady is someone I find attractive and therefore would reach out to.

As long as she has good reputation either by virtue of having lot of reviews or another respected monger vouching for her.
You should be able to get general idea of what she looks like by talking to the said monger or reading the reviews. That should allow you to decide whether she is a good match or not.
At some point you will have to email her to set up an appointment anyway, So is asking for pictures a big deal? I do, however, agree with you that if it becomes a painful ordeal you have to move on.
If you have ever hobbied with a UTR lady or have any experience w/ Sugar Babies, exchanging pics is very customary.
You really want to give up on good experience because you can't salivate on the pics with ten thousand other mongers.. LOL
I've seen some providers move away from having galleries on their websites because they are already providing so much free content by having:
• photos (sometimes multiple photos) placed on every page of their website • advertisements with 6+ photos • social media with pro photos + selfies (twitter and/or IG)
It makes sense when one spends some time ruminating on it.
In either case I move on as well. If I didn't like what I saw, then I wouldn't have to waste either of our time even making contact. My entire purpose is avoiding jumping through hoops to get some.
