And if you needed some medical professional to tell you to cough to reduce some pain, and it's been working for years, just what credentials does this MD have? Why would some medical professional pound a needle into your spine? A good professional knows the correct entry points. Same with a catheter. And an IV? Damn woman, what clinic/s are you going to? I sure hope you never have to see this tool if something serious ever has to be addressed. Makes me wonder if that doctor even inserted this IUD properly.

Whenever you have a painful experience, the "cough" method really helps lessen the pain. I "coughed" for my epidural, and when he pounded the needle in my spine, I didn't feel a thing. I "coughed" for my catheter and also didn't feel a thing. And when I also coughed for my IV, I knew they were on to something.
My gyno either needs to use the "cough" method or give me a local the next time (in 2021) that I need a new Mirena.
