Would it make sense to create a seperate discussion board called the Medical Corner in which members could share medical information.
Lately, I have noted there are a number of folks who keep asking questions about STDs and such. If we had such a board, we could catalog these response and perhaps even anchor them ... that way folks can be more informed and the redudnacy of posting the same question is greatly reduced.

Of course, using the search function before asking the question would also cut down quite a bit on this sort of repetitive questioning. It really doesn't matter what board the information is on. If people ask first rather than do a search the redundancy will continue...
It's the same on the newbie board. Different newbies asking the same questions, the same cast of characters answering from their own POV. I don't see anything changing, I just try to ignore those posts.
