Have noticed lately that a number of providers have posted photos on their websites with nose rings; the kind that some bulls (male cows) are forced to wear.
Can not figure out why an attractive lady, with so many delicious attributes, would diminish her appearance like this. For me, it truly turns me off.
Any ideas gentlemen or ladies?
Whether it's piercings or tattoos or pink hair or goth makeup or just a race or nationality that they don't get at home...
Or maybe it's price. Do providers with nose rings charge less?
Personally, I can't stand nipple piercings. Almost anything else, as long as it doesn't present an obstacle or impalement risk, I'm ok with.
I also worry about nipple piercing's impact on my veneers. Dentist hasn't said anything yet, and, well, they're lifetime warrantied I guess...
ONE word - OUCH! ![]()
What's the idea of those gold nose boogers? Total turn off.
I’ve gotten over a nose “stud”.... but the bull ring, NO THANK YOU! I don’t like grommets in the ears either. Maximum 3 (4?) piercings in the ears, 1 belly button (kinda fun to play with on way to DATY). Multi-colored hair of unusual colors is a big turn-off as well. Saw a girl that had dipped her blonde hair in a little blue, and that was okay.
I think we may discover that these “weird, unusual” styles are found on “girls”, and the older the fella less likely to be turned on! Personally, I much prefer the adjective elegant over “punk” or “goth” any day.
You can just tie her up outside the saloon while you have a few drinks and not worry about her wandering off on her own.
... that "CDL" is! ![]()
Thanks, but I'm a BIG boy.
Here, hold my BEER! ![]()
You should drink whiskey. It's fewer calories.
That’s what real men drink. (Or tequila)
... you stayed in school LONG enough to learn how to READ, "C.D.L."
HOW else would you know about what REAL men, like ME, drink?
Very true, Nobody loves me like Tequila does.
credit where its due. Of course, I'm a charmer. How do you think I get so much OTC time? Its certainly not by being like you. Lol
The guys who want it the most don't have a clue on how to get it. And you can't explain it to them. You've either got it or you don't.
Like dodo that have so little game they don’t know what it is.
Awh, poor baby!
WHAT'S wrong with you, "C.D.L.," that you have to spend EXTRA time with your local PHARMACIST?
Is it TERMINAL?
You can tell us! ![]()
Put up “likes” on your own posts? They go up immediately after your post. Are you so insecure you want us to believe that OTHERS like your posts? Newsflash . . . you’re not fooling anyone.
We're on the SAME page, brother!
As an "older" monger myself, nothing breaks my heart more than when I have to decline seeing an otherwise ATTRACTIVE "pro" because of a non-flattering NOSE ring, esp. the type that you describe.
Of course, that's a personal preference of MINE, having grown up in an era when the only women in the US wearing nose rings were of Indian/Southeast Asian extraction (nothing against Indians?Southeast Asians!).
I'm gonna assume that a monger of a YOUNGER generation MIGHT find such a piercing to be a TURN on.
You sound like my grandparents when they were bitching about my long hair.
It was MY (male) grandparents, who had long hair, on both my mother's and father's side of the family. They also remember the Beatles. To each his own, for sure. But nose rings, no thank you.
Septum piercings are hip thing to do right now. If you're looking to see someone, it's fair to ask them if it can be removed.
And, I specifically say "can be removed" because if that piercing is fresh, it has to stay in for 6 months before it's healed enough to remove, and really more like a year if you don't want it to hurt when you put the ring back in.
Personally, if they're cute, they're cute, and I'm probably going to finish in doggy anyway, so it really doesn't bother me at all. I'm more bothered by bad tattoos honestly.
Not for me but they are hot AF....on other people.
I get the culture or style in the now but C'mon now...think 20-30 years later.
Oh yeah.... Face tattoos!!! Either the lady is stooopid with no forethought, &/or has a drinking/drug habit I’d just assume not to meet!!! And as long as we are on tattoos...... There is a point where it is so excessive as to be a turn off. BUT, the hotter, better built the lady more tolerance is generally given.
Get off my lawn, and take your nasty nose rings with you !
But I thank you guys for your service. Thanks for defeating the Nazis. Greatest Generation indeed.
Defeat the Nazi’s? Yes that was the Greatest Generation!!!! But, do the math, those MEN would in their 90’s, and kicking ladies to the curb for having more then one piercing, or ANY tattoos.
I believe the other gents would be grateful, as I am, that WE managed to ingest ALL the Quaaludes!!! There would be no telling how fucked up the X, Y and Z generations would be if any of those were still available.
Never heard of sarcasm? Good thing I didn't reference the fucking Civil War. Or the Revolutionary War. How would you do the math then?
Old is old dude.
I was being sarcastic as well..... even increasing the imagined dislike. You thought I was serious about 90 year old johns kicking providers to the curb. I also was dissing on the drug use of Baby Boomers. And I did take a poke at young folks sucking at math. And, every generation thinks the next two in line are fucking losers. Always been that way. I just hope the X, Y and Z gen’s hurry up and move out of Mom’s basement, get a job and start contributing to my Social Security Benefits!
Yeah, you assholes munched all the ludes and didn't save any for the rest of us, and now the feds shut that carnival down. It's a shame, they sounded fun.
I hope we left y’all some LSD!!!
I think this applies:
from Wikepdia:
"Historically, the use of nose rings for controlling animals dates to the dawn of recorded human civilization. They were used in ancient Sumer and are seen on the Standard of Ur, where they were used on both bovines and equines.[1]"
Nothing is new.
It's stolen how you call what you wear and how you wear it?:
"Historically in the Indian Subcontinent, nose piercings are done by women only. However the spread of this fashion has resulted in both men and women having nostril piercings in the wider world. Several different types of nostril rings are found. Among the most popular are the loop, the stud with an L-bar closure, the stud with a ball closure, and the stud with a flat backing.
In India the outside of the left part of the body[citation needed] is the preferred position of the piercing. This is followed by some orthodox folk also because Ayurvedic medicine associates this location with the female reproductive organs.[4] In India, like any other jewelry, piercings and the jewelry are regarded as a mark of beauty and social standing as well as a Hindu's honor to Parvati, the goddess of marriage. Nose piercing is still popular in India and the subcontinent. The piercings are often an integral part of Indian wedding jewelry. In Maharashtra, women wear very large intricate nose pieces that often cover the mouth or the side of the face.
It is very common in Bengali women. Many South Indian Tamil also follow this old tradition. However, Tamil women traditionally pierce their right nostril. Numerous traditions are associated with it. Many women from the Asian subcontinent are cremated with just their nose studs as jewelry is removed before the funeral. Indian widows usually remove their nose studs as a sign of respect. Nose piercing has historically been strictly forbidden among many families of Kashmiris belonging to the Butt, Dar, Lone and Mir castes settled in Pakistan, as their ancestors associated nose piercing with people of menial descent in ancient Kashmiri society.
Nose piercing can be dated through Pre-Columbian and colonial times throughout North and South America. Numerous status ceremonies are carved into the North Temple of the Great Ballcourt at Chichin Itza.[5] One of these processions is a nose piercing ceremony that is depicted on the North Temple vault.[5] Rather than depicting sacrifice, the common theme of the temple's carvings, the central figure is shown aiming what most likely is a bone awl to pierce the figure's nose.[5] The ritual of the nostril piercing signified the elevated status of this figure. His place in society is symbolized by his nose piercing. Similarly, nose piercing signified elevated status in Colonial Highland Maya. The two prominent lords, Ajpop and the Ajpop K'ama, of the K'iche were pierced through the nose at the pinnacle of an elaborate ceremony.[5] Similar to a crowning of a king, the nose piercing was to show their new found leadership of the K'iche.
In Yucatan, explorers Oviedo y Valdes, Herrera y Tordesillas, Diego de Landa, and Jeronimo de Aguilar all noted different nose piercings that they observed in Mayans and other cultures in Yucatan in general.[5] They reported that different stones could have different meaning within each civilization. In addition, they believed the different placement and size and shape of beads could denote the specific society the person came from. The Toltecs were believed to have piercings through the ala of the nose that was ordained with a bead. While the Mayans pierced through the septum and consisted of an oblong bead rather than a spherical.[5]"#/media/File:Standard_of_ur.jpg)
