std testing results questions

update to my post below.

I was tested late november at a std clinic and was clean.  they tested for everything.   is there a time frame that the test would not cover.  Say I was exposed 60 days before testing that the test did not detect because of an incubation period?  I would really like a factual answer to this as I want to make sure I contact all providers possible.

my doctor said the test could come back negative but that doesn't mean i don't have an std which is not very comforting.   I probably should have gone to the clinic as they see this stuff all the time and would probably be more thorough.

I pray that something else caused this like an allergic reaction to hand sanitizer that i put on after seeing the last provider because i was spooked by her even though she is supposedly a high end provider or from the k-y jelly that was lathered on me a few days later by my wife.

You might want to wait 3 months (see no providers) then get your std tests.

If you want factual answers, you are capable of finding that out on your own.

There are millions of information out there you can search on your own for each known STD gestation/incubation period and what not. ;)

If you have a family doctor, go see him or her, tell them that you were tested for all STD's in November, and everything came back negative.

Be honest with your family doctor, and tell them that you have proctected (if this is true) sexual intercourse with escorts from time to time. Let them know currently you have some sort of irrattion going down there, and you're not sure where it's coming from.  Be honest with your doctor, and tell him or her, the last time or time(s) you had sex with an escort or escorts, and try to remember all the exact dates of you had sex with them, and if protection was used or not.

Your doctor who is a professional won't look down on you, and your information stays private, from family and public eyes.  They will be able to detact something aa lot faster rather taking a few test of with sample of your blood and urine, vs. you going on websites trying to play doctor yourself, and calling up escorts worrying everybody.

If you do have an STD, you doctor will be able to pin point when you contratced it (time frame of exposure), and you will be able to figure out what the escort may have it. At that time it'll be up to you to contact her, and let her know, she may have an STD, and that she may need to go get her self checked out and treated.

This seems to be the most logical move to take in this situation.

One month later the test came back that I had chlamydia. There is definitively an incubation period that you will come up negative. Some STD's the incubation period that you test negative is up to six months like HIV and for HPV there is not a test that us men can take. That is why we all need to test often.

Imagine if I only tested quarterly how many I would have infected as I had no symptoms if the likely source did not call me. One lady a week for three months is about 13 ladies instead of 4 that I ended up exposing. AS it is I only ended up giving it to my wife as the others are safety ladies and everything was covered and did not end up with it. But my wife was none to happy about it and that was bad enough.

Anther unhappy tread. Here is anther Met-Art.com photo to make it a bit more happy. Photo is of Tacia A.

If you are showing symptoms, it will show on the test. If you don't have symptoms, then it depends on the STD. HIV can take months before it shows on some tests.

Blame it on the wife.

No one listens to me. I don't know why. Just fartin' in the wind here, I guess.

After exposure,

Gonn and Chlamydia: 5 days negative test is reassuring

Herpes: type 1 and 2 in blood: Antibodies take upto 4 months to develop. No point testing if you do not notice a rash 1n 12-14 days

Syphilis: A negative blood test at 6 weeks is highly reassuring especially if you have not noticed the chancre on penis

HIV: A negative test at 16 weeks from last exposure is sure shot, most experts say that at 8 weeks it should be pretty good.

Now looking at your post below, I can comment this:

With a 3 day incubation period, most likely you had Gonorrhea. Gonorrhea is and can be transmitted via BBBJ esp if the provider deep throats. Gonorrhea is symptomatic in 90% of men in 2-4 days from exposure.

Chlamydia usually takes 7-10 days to get symptoms, plus Chlamydia is highly unlikely with BBBJ as it usually does not survive in the oral mucosa.

However since some hobbyists mention that they have got it, I suppose it is possible. However, most likely they would have probably developed what is called as NGU ( non gonococcal Urethritis) which is not Gonorrhea, but may be due to Chlamydia or other organisms. Now the mouth of all humans has a lot of bacteria, so technically it is possible to get NGU (which some doctors generically label all NGU as chlamydia,, even though it is not Chlamydia but symptoms are the same).

NGU from normal oral bacteria is not Sexually transmitted, however it will be impossible to determine which bacteria caused it as some vaginal bacteria can cause NGU and be transmitted sexually.

If you have not had sex with your wife since your last exposure, and your earlier results was fine, you need not worry.
