One of the qualifying questions is have you been with someone or are someone who receives money of sex. Just curious if anyone who provides or hires a provider donates blood?
I don't know if they accept 80 proof blood any more than they accept the blood of hookers or johns, so I guess I have two strikes against me. lol

Seriously though, I have done it and tried to do it recently due to all the “we need blood!” appeals. But when I showed up at the donation center, there was a sign on the door, “No donations today, sorry for any inconvenience”. I’d planned my Saturday afternoon around it so I was pissed. I sent a complaint to the ARC, and they responded that they’d called me about the cancellation. If true, I was probably on my phone and they didn’t leave a message. And they had my email so they could have notified me that way. I haven’t rescheduled yet. I had to wait several weeks to get in so maybe they weren’t as short on donations as they claimed.

I recommend you study up on those requirements at redcrossblood.org and come back and report to the class as to how I could donate blood during my life, including in recent months.
You might also want to think about what’s been happening in the world over the past six months or so.
Personally I can't imagine going three months "without" but if that's your claim, I guess I am hardly in a position to call you a liar, about "that" at least.

on that one. When I was a starving college student, after some strenuous genetic testing, I had a gig donating one load a week to a fertility clinic for which I got $100. Not bad for the late 70's.
Once I took that first payment, I stopped. But before that, I donated regularly.
I'm looking this up - it makes sense that people should be able to return to donating blood later on... not sure what the rules are in the US.
