candelight, and I leave the ceiling fan on to make them flicker a bit more. I think artificial light is distracting but I still like to be able to see what Im doing

First meeting, bright.  From the second meeting on, candlelight.

was just kidding, but now i seem to remember a great scene with Sonia Braga and the above-mentioned illuminatory device, but can't recall the name of the movie.

I prefer to wear one of those flashlights you strap on to your head (kind of like the coal miners wear). That way you can get a really good look before you take the plunge!

Scented candles placed in different areas of the room. Agree with leaving the ceiling fan on. The flicker of light can really enhance the erotic sense of sight.

I like natural light, if possible, illuminating the living room or entry way when she first opens the door and says "Hi!"

Moonlight (esp.  during full moon) shining through an open window, curtains drawn. If that is not possible, dimmed lights, then candlelight is sufficient.

I used candle light and soft pink light bulbs in the bedroom to be more flattering to my female guests.  Now that I'm older, I still use them, only now it's to make me look better to them!  How time changes things.

Being the visual guy that I am, part of the experience for me is always to soak in the beautiful view of the woman in front of me.  You don't need bright lights (we're not grading beef), but I do prefer enough light to appreciate the woman whose company I'm about to enjoy.  It's a visual feast which I don't want to miss.

when YOU were younger... lightbulbs?  You expect us to believe that?  We all know when you and word YOUNG were congruent that oil lamps were the status quo!

Hey, watch it.  I only look old.  Other than that, I'm fine!

And to prove you're only as old as you feel- I had lunch with a buddy today (also my age) and watched as a shapely woman strolled across the parking lot of Best Buy toward us.  She was wearing a pink dress that made her womanly curves all the more apparent.  It was only as she got closer that we realized the package she was carrying was actually school books.  Naturally, we both felt cheap and dirty for lusting after this young lass- yeah right.

Just thought I'd make you feel good, DAD!!   :-)

Dim lights are always better, & some candles always add an extra touch!

Happy Holidays!
