Do you really think any church which can qualify as a MEGA-CHURCH received that status by complying with biblical principle? How many hungry children could have been fed with the money used do build that mega-structure or temple? Do the leaders wear robes of fine linen? What do you think they cost? Soup Kitchens could have been erected. Are the pews made of Cherry or other fine exotic wood? A home could have been built for a needy family.

I could go on forever about these fucking mega-churches. I've ranted enough

But at the risk of sharing TMI I have a history with Mega-Churches and those who choose to bilk people of the time/attention/money.

You allude to the idea that these churches do their share of helping others? Again I can tell you HORSE-SHIT!!!!!!! We aren't here for personal wealth or accolades.

You know the funny guy alias that inject some humor into things are alot of times better than their regular posts, whoever they may be.  Now, the "really bitter, 'must educate' the masses alias",  those tend to suck and bring alot of unneccessary bullshit and suck the fun out of this site/hobby.  I tend to look at this as a purely "for my entertainment" hobby.

This place isn't like a TX style 25,000 seat mega church.  It's a 5,000+ amphitheater.  I occasionally go as it puts me in a good mood and there tends to be good eye candy there.  I would say there are plenty of churches that help many poor and down and out people.  But thats a discussion for another day and this isn't the forum to have it.  My original post was just to inject some funny in this AM.
