I could care less about trends and advertising. I have always been attracted to women with large boobs (D,DD being my favorite) and nothing will change that.
Considering that barbies now come in plus sizes, I assume this is an attempt to attract Mellinials who are less superficial than my generation. Thanks to the hobby, I can't remember the last time I've been with a woman with a cup size smaller than a D. LOL. I love them D's!!!!

Yes, your correct Victoria's Secert has gotten rid of all bathsuits which is awful and they hardley ever offer nice, sexy bras that fit my huge 36 DDD boobs. Very saddening 
I have went in there many times complaining about it and still nothing has changes. The bralettes are cute but NEVER I mean NEVER fit me. I think I need to open up my own store for women with huge racks. LOL. 
"Add 1 cup size!" "Add TWO cup sizes!!" All of those bras & swimsuits VS sells that use stuffing and thick foam to "add cup sizes" are the equivalent of pre-teen girls stuffing their bras to make it look like they have breasts. It's childish and I think both men and women have grown tired of it.
What is the point of wearing a bra that adds 1 or 2 cup sizes? You look like you have breasts, but they vanish when you take the bra off lol.
I stopped buying VS a long time ago because their designs look cheap, the quality is low, and they put that silly foam stuffing in most of their bras. I have breasts of my own, so I don't want all that stuffing.

So you don't need any padding, lol. I don't like it either (natural 36-C) and I have a few of their very low cut bras for low cut fashions and do not have a lot of padding. If fact they are slightly molded but not much padding at all.
I do agree that the add two cups are a bit much but I don't know how I'd feel if I was an A-cup. There swimwear was SO pretty and I'm disheartened to see them go.

yeah, but there's something to be said for ample breasts (such as yours) being made to look like mountains, pouring out the top of a bra. Makes me just want to dive in.
tried too hard to expand their customer base by catering more to women who have really imperfect measurements. As a result, a lot of the sexiness their stuff used to have is gone I used to be able to walk in and have trouble deciding WHICH hot lingerie set to buy for one of my regulars. Lately, its like I have to look around for awhile to find one I think is hot enough. They're too mainstream now. Bring back the naughtiness, I say.
The company is going through a restructuring so categories that are not part of the core competencies get dropped.

VS has dropped out of bathing suits entirely & scaled back other lines & advertizing. Supposedly less uplifting 'bralettes' are the new trend.
Frankly, I don't think so. I've drooled my way through the photo board... and big breasts are still in style. They have been since recorded time. Admittedly not my area of expertise, except as an admirer.

The stuff all looks the same, is lower end and frankly looks cheap. They were an incredible game changer for women to reconsider sexy lingerie when they first hit the marketplace about 16 years ago. Like all companies there is a lifespan for their hipness/coolness/freshness. If companies don't refresh their brand and keep it different then the typical upside down bell curve takes place. They needed to be more current quite awhile ago.
I love the hot models, the sexy catalogs and the fashion shows; they are all pretty great soft porn and visually appealing because the women are just perfection with ah-mazing breasts and figures. The actual product pretty much sells based on a mass appeal great advertising campaign each season versus a quality product. The age and income demographics have also changed from the original older (30 years old+) with some cash to spend, to now it is under 30 and teen agers. Unfortunately they lost me as a customer to other brands at Neiman's, Nordies, Agent Provocateur, La Perla and Bloomingdales as well as local boutiques offering unique looks. A woman of most cup sizes can get that vavavoom bodacious lifted breast lift with a well tailored shelf bra or bralette, and other labels frankly are much more comfortable. I'm not a fan of tons of padding (which is typical of most VS lines) but I get great luscious breast lift from bralettes with zero padding but tailored correctly.
Plus there is the added minor negative point for me that the VS stores are absolute mad houses with lines that are too long for me to stand in. Ten years ago I got much better service at VS but now I find that I can get exactly the help I need quickly and be in and out at the stores I mentioned above.
PS: I agree with you that beautiful breasts will always be in style as they have been since men and woman began having sex. I've heard that smaller breasts are really in vogue again (if they are perky) but lets face it, some men will always like bigger and some like smaller, and some like implants and some won't go near them. That will never change since men aren't all cut from the same mold and have their own individual turn ons regardless of what is "in style". I'm going slightly bigger in the next 6 months and almost all of my clients with a few exceptions are discouraging me from doing it as they prefer a healthy B/C more slim athletic figure.
