No more lap dance in Las Vegas?

Clark county in Nevada and Las Vegas are considering new law to prohibit contact with dancer and ban lap dancing in private rooms.

Wow, even Sin City is getting more puritan.  What is happening to the more open and tolerant West?

And Assistant District Attorney Mike Davidson is heading up a moral crusade to rid us of the decedent behavior running rampant in Las Vegas (oh my) and return this city to it's true foundation of family values. The casinos tried this back in the 90s by putting in theme parks and family attractions...

Psssst it didn't work and the new revision of the law was declared unconstitutional... they had a similar law in Tampa Bay.

What goes on with two consenting adults is their business and we don't need the government to pry into our private lives.

Yes, Las Vegas should turn the clock back to a more wholesome time .... like when Bugsy Siegel and Virginia Hill were running the Flamingo Hotel.

Vegas cracks me up. On the one hand, they are trying to become "family oriented". I started with 'Circus Circus" and a host of theme-park oriented casinoes followed.

On the other hand, you take a three block walk down the strip and over 2 dozen guys will try to put flyers for hookers in your hand. Last time I went, my wife and I were holding hands while walking along, and that didn't stop anyone. People were still trying to get us to take escort ads. Maybe they thought we wanted a threesome.

I think Disneyland should follow suit. They could put a few providers on a ride and call it the Madame Horn.
