I'm not a doctor, but I do read up on this stuff.  First, you may be confusing terms.  There is "human" growth hormone (not male or female) which is made in the pituitary gland.  Our body's production of HGH declines consistently after our twenties and is a mere fraction by the time we reach our forties or fifties.  All the HGH supplement products I've seen are aimed at coaxing our body to produce HGH at a higher level in order to achieve anti-aging benefits.  Some are really just generic herbal cocktails, but others (like GHR15) have been shown to perform as advertised.  But the point is, none of this category of products will make your penis grow, and they are really intended for those people over 40 years old.

As for male hormones, we all know what that is, but more testosterone doesn't make your penis bigger either.  Too much male hormone (and, of course, steroid based products etc.) does have negative side-effects, so any product in that category should be carefully researched.  All the reports I've read about the so-called male enhancement products proved that they had no efficacy.  In fact, you may rememeber that the most prominent marketer of this stuff was recently closed down and arrested for fraud last year (I think it was in Arizona).

As for the surgery, that should really only be considered an option of last resort for someone who has a very small penis (3 inches, for example- sorry NeedleDickTBF, I know that sounds like a lot).  The penis is a complicated piece of equipment, and the surgery is not without risks.  It's really intended for people whose small size prevents them from having normal sexual relations- not those that want to look better.  Of course, it's being marketed to play upon male insecurities, just like women have been targeted for years about their breasts and every other part of their bodies.  But penis enhancement surgery is not without side-effects, so you should research it carefully.  Bottom line is, if you are anywhere near normal (say 5" or larger erect), leave what you've got alone and just "double-down on the oral sex," as Adam Carolla says. The only thing worse than an average size penis is a larger penis that no longer functions well.

Finally, I'd suggest you consider why you feel the need for a lager penis in the first place.  I think there are far better ways to distinguish yourself as a person that women would appreciate just as much.  I've never heard a women complain about a man with an average-sized penis who was interesting company, behaved as a gentleman, or was an accomplished lover.

OK, I admit it - Im average.  (:>(

I also believe that most ladies are OK with average (ladies, please let me know if that's not true).  But like lots of ladies, I'm starting to wonder what it would be like to "stand out in a crowd" so to speak.  (:>)

So here's my question.  I get alot of emails for "male growth hormone" and enlargement techniques and I am wondering:

1 - are they effective?  Do they really enlargen the unit or merely the male ego...

2 - are they safe?  It seems like there has been an explosion of advertisements for these products which, of course, all indicate that they are - however I'm a skeptic.  Any testimonials?  Doctors and medical professionals - your insight is particularly sought after.

3 - how do you expalin the "change" to your SO?!

Thanks for the advise.

Mr. (hoping to become above) Average  (:>)

The pills do not work. They mostly contain yohimbe or other vasodilators which may increase flaccid hang or cause a slightly firmer erection, but they will not increase the size of the penile tissue. To do that you need to stretch the penis,
by jelqing (milking), manual stretching, or hanging weights. It is a slow, tedious process but it does work.

Do a Google search for "penis enlargement" or "jelq" or "jelk" and you will find numerous web sites and discussion boards, some free, some pay sites. I think you can get all the information you need from the free sites.

Just devote yourself to being a great lover, the rest will fall into place.

Considering the risks, costs and lack of guaranteed results with all "Advertised" methods, very few people realize this interesting tidbit....

If you are a male, and overweight, every 30 lbs you shed from your body results in approximately an additional 1" of available length.

This is a result of the fat stored around the base that effectively "shortens" your penis.  Fellows, if you thought you remembered it being longer when you were younger....and you weigh more than back then...it may be the culprit.

I had heard this before, and understood the premise.  It was reaffirmed when a friend of mine had radical surgery(stomach stapling) to control his weight.  Upon losing 100 lbs, he is happy with how "big" he is now.

Just another reason to get in shape....LOL

One other recent development.

Researchers were able to take penile tissue from a donor rabbit, stimulate it to grow under laboratory conditions into a "scaffold" of more, larger newer tissue, re-implant it back into the rabbit who was able to perform sexually within 4 weeks.

This was more a feasibility study for regenerating/regrowing replacement tissue from burn and accident victims in order to prevent rejection and other issues previously encountered, but once you hear of the rabbit getting an upgrade...

Lets see...I weigh 230 lbs.... measure about 6" ...I drop 120 lbs.... grow to 10".... and feel better than ever at 110 lbs. What a diet!!!

That part of your body is only a small portion of the sexual experience.  There are other things, that when done with a nice erection, make the whole package complete.  Men are not judged by there penis alone...!  Something tells me you're just fine the way you are.

If you are like me ... fat ... everytime I loose 5 pouns my penis grows. On those times when I cant loose weight ... I duct tape the fat and it looks bigger.

Disclaimer: This is a joke. I am fat but it is still a joke. Except for the weight loss part.

oops this was supposed to be a reply to the original post .... MrAverage

This reminds me of what my dear departed Grandfather told me just before he passed away,"Sonny don't marry a woman with big hands, it makes your pecker look smaller." :)
