Should TER expands the site to include Male providers?

I know the site caters to TS providers, but what about Male providers. What do you think?

That's why you are posting under an alias :-)

They are either queer as Richard Simmons (power bottoms), or steroid head macho gay (tops).

You know, there are many who believe those who are the most biggoted against sexual diversity are those who fear what is in their own hearts and minds...

I actually have several female clients, I've also met at least one who found me only because she could not find a man who fit what she was seeking.

To be honest and fair, most of the male providers business will come from other men.  Just as there are lesbians who are female providers, there are heterosexual male providers.

I have no issue with the empowered word queer, however your use of the word faggot and the obnoxiously uninformed sterotypes makes you an ignorant hater.

Try learning to live and let live someday, it's good for the blood pressure.

I am bigoted too, but I don't mind doing a dude every once in a while either if in a pinch.  I guess you can say I'm bi-political.  But I get where you are coming from.  Group hug, everybody!

Clowns like this say stuff like this mostly just to get a rise out of people.  Even if he does believe it, people like that are usually defined by their hate, so it is nearly impossible to reach them, as they've buried themselves in it all their life.

Doesn't stop me from believing that silence can be mistaken for acceptance of boorish hatefilled behaviour.  I have little stomach for it...

What about big fat ugly, rich and old ladies?
They need luvin too, and they too must pay.

Someone has got to give it to grandma!

But they'd probably have to do a whole new marketing to gain members who see male providers.  It'll be entertaining to read for sure.

No offense to my fellow providers who are TS, but the truth is, some men will avoid a lady if she is reviewed by a reviewer who has also written TS reviews. We don't need more men avoiding us because we are reviewed by someone who also has a review for a man in his review history.

Not in my opinion.

...Wrong playground!

That's something I could certainly live WITHOUT. Its just TMI for me. We know it exists, but I don't have to look at it!

I think male homosexuality in any form could really ruin the reputation of us cheating, total strangers engaging in the gray market of sex for hire.  Lets keep this website heterosexual and leave our gay activities secret, or at least semi-publicly confined to bathroom stalls.  Except bi-women can be honest about it.  I seem to recall Jesus saying daisy chains and girl-on-girl carpet munching are OK, if it is expressed tastefully in pornography.  Otherwise, stop making us feel uncomfortable.  We have our families to think about here!  Jeeze...LuWeeze...

It pushes all the wrong buttons, or maybe: plays all the flat keys. I won't say it isn't fun for hetero guys-- it's un-fun. Sexually mortifying.

I'm sorry, I didn't make the rules.

gay sex "chilling"? Show me one single man who isn't turned on by 2 women getting it on. Last time I checked that was still considered GAY SEX.

hmmm....for people who maintain every expectation of their personal right to conduct their own sexuality in a way that pleases them--sexualilty that doesn't...shall we say...conform to societal norms...there's a chilling amount of judgment going on here.

Thank you Sola for a voice of reason and tolerance.

signing off still spitting nails....

First, I refer to "gay" as being male homosexuality, and "lesbian" as being female sexuality. I realize, technically the term "gay" could apply to both, but that's the distinction I'm making.

From that, my definition of "chilling" refers to the way it affects sexual excitement in hetero-guys, like me. It refers to nothing else.

Now, I've read gay porn-- it does nothing for me. I've also had the strange experience of looking through porn on the internet, opening the next picture and it's two guys-- I lost the hard-on right there. I'd call that chilling.

Now if it were two women-- it cooks, it rocks.

Why does my sexuality work that way? Shit, I don't know. It just does. For it to be real sex, a woman has to be involved.

My history is not homophobic. I've been at parties where guys have made out in front of me. Wasn't offended. I've had guys hit on me. I wasn't rude to them, I just told them nicely that I was hopelessly, incurably heterosexual.

But my post was stupid. Stupid because for some reason I had in mind somehow having gay reviews in general discussion.

Hey ladies and gentlemen, I'm terribly sick now with bad kidney function, and I'm not thinking right all the time. That post shows it.

I get that most (if not all) hetero men enthusiastically enjoy girl/girl sex and at the same time condemn boy/boy sex.

But that more 'accepting' attitude towards lesbians is often only because it turns them on sexually, and not because they practice a genuine acceptance of GLBT people (and I am not speaking to you personally).

My objection is to the hypocrisy of the majority of the attitudes in this post (not necessarily yours specifically) which is, very sadly, a true reflection of the homophobia, discrimination and hate experienced by GLBT's in countless ways every day. That discrimination continues to be underpinned by these very types of attitudes.

Even more sad is that, one would hope that people on a site like TER who, all in their own way are acting in discord with 'acceptable' cultural expressions of sexuality, would be more accepting (or at least more tolerant) of sexual deviance.

But I do genuinely appreciate your willingness to rethink your position.  And, in the off chance that a review of a male homosexual provider slips in some day (I don’t think anyone is holding their breath), just don’t read it; simple. (Then again, I bet most wouldn’t be able to resist;)

And much more important than the lingering puritanical attitudes of Americans towards sexuality, I wish you the best with your health. Get well.

If a guy wants to see a male provider so what.   Same with the transsexuals,  if that's not your thing just don't go to that board or read the reviews unless......

Wake up and smell the labia petals.  Then turn down the dirt road.  That's how I roll.

who says ter wouldnt include one if one was submitted ?

If we're truly not discriminating (as I hear is the reason why male agency owners have been allowed on the provider board,) and we include TS's and such, why not male providers? I think it would only serve to legitimize the policies of TER, really. Furthermore, their inclusion would draw some female hobbyists and their revenue as paying members and possibly would provide a unique perspective to the ladies. I welcome it, personally.

As for whether or not women will truly use this function, who knows, but I think it would definitely be a benefit to the TER community.

Katie

there are gay sites for such postings.  Putting them here would turn away a number of the guys.

I agree .We do not care to see penis :)

?

I don't see a big issue in it....I mean TS and a man...not much of a different except some fake tits and a dress right?...oh and hormone pills

There's not a single hobbyist on this board who wouldn't get solid wood at the idea of girl on girl action... and I can think of a few FEMALE hobbyists who have written reviews.

There is a small, but viable niche market for trans-gender providers, and those who would see them deserve to have their needs met just as much as the most testosterone prone macho man.
And that market is at least nominally served by TER, despite the scorn they still endure.

I personally see no reason why male escort's, be they gigolo, gay, bi-sexual or trans-friendly shouldn't have their own niche market catered to.

I'm surprised at all the homophobia being exhibited in this thread. I'd expect it from the Bible-Thumpers, but not here.

go to a sushi joint, or Italian, or whatever else - but when you mix them, you have an unsaleable mess.

Nobody is hating because they don't want to mix everything together.

This is a review site.  You can have reviews of all sorts of restaurants in the same paper.

Doc is right, but I can't believe he is surprised. He obviously hasn't been paying attention to previous posts of this nature.  Here you have a site mostly comprised of men who are trying to recapture their sexual vitality.  Take the average male's outlook towards bisexuality or homosexuality, and it is not surprising at all that they are going to be uncomfortable with anything outside of straight as an arrow sexuality.

Throw in a dash of how rude some people are on this site because of the aliases, and you usually have a good bit of negative slang surrounding posts like this.

I've read reviews on this site that have included references to golden showers, naughty meals, hard core S&M, strap-on fetishes, etc etc etc.

That's a far cry from man-on-top-get-it-over-with-quick, don't you think?

I also find it quite amusing that among the homophobic authors in this thread their reviews have included strap-on and X-dressing scenarios.

And I wouldn't equate a general role with homophobia, any more than one person's preference for a particular architectural style equates to hatred of others.

I think the deal is something like, man-on-top and paying includes one hell of a lot of variations, but this particular one is 180 out, and dilutes the market.

I would look to other market analogues - mainstream   boy meets girl, dinner & a movie doesn't mix a lot with obviously gay stuff in the real world.   IMHO, it's not politics, it's business; and preferences for one particular style does not infer hatred of others, or bad politics.

OTOH, people coming along with stuff they know others don't like - going to Ruth & CHris to call DOmino's for a pizza to be delivered - is a little beyond rude.

IMHO!

... you have many styles and tastes right at hand. But you're going to go patronize the one that most appeals to you.

I try to stay away from food courts, and I doubt that TER is the "food court" price range.

From a purely marketing view, my advice to TER is that the markets are so far separate that they should open a separate website.

I think that a lot of the value of the market is invested in particular male-female roles & relationships - that is, who is the giver, and who is the receiver; and anything that dilutes that, also dilutes the market value.  Reduces the head of steam, so to speak.

... but at least your dialog comes across as reasonable, and minus the judgemental comments  reeking of homophobia.

And as an aside to MSD, who I'm sure will read here at some point... my surprise was not that homophobia exists on a board like this... my surprise was the extent to which it seems to be prevalent... among providers as well as hobbyists.

It certainly does ruin the mood. If Staff can keep that from happening, then I say go ahead.

There are literally 100's of gay sites similar to TER  It is simply not necessary to include male escorts here for 2 reasons:

1.  Women don't buy sex, theyget it for free (except maybe older types).
2.  We don't need the clutter of a bunch of gays on this site with all of their chatter.

I, personally, am not interested in reading about some guy screwing another guy in the ass.

GT

This is not just a matter of homophobia! TER is mostly comprised of men who are constantly trying to affirm their role as heterosexuals or machismos.  The inclusion of male Providers offering service to other males is a threat to this self affirmation, rightly or wrongly. BTW TER already does allows non-TS male Providers of male to male sex to participate if he is part of duo that also offers heterosexual sex.

Is this a half step in direction of this site actively including male Providers that offer service to both male and females?

I'm surprised and saddened by some of the comments on this thread - and heartened by some of the others.  For people engaging in illicit, often kinky sex, I'm amazed at the homophobia and lack of diversity acceptance still prevalent here.  It's the 21st Century, I thought most of us had moved beyond that.

I seriously doubt there would be a storm of male providers lining up to advertise or be reviewed here on TER - whether they were straight gigolos or gay males.  There simply isn't enough business to make it worthwhile.

BUT - I believe they should be allowed to participate if they wanted.  There is a very easy solution.  If it's not your "thing" don't hire them.  But I personally believe in equal rights for everyone.

I've never heard of a gay provider hitting on straight guys, there's no point.  I do know of women who hire transsexual companions and male gigolos - but it is all word of mouth, very quietly arranged, and very high end.  Females seeking companionship don't browse sites like this. At the most they will go to sites like AFF or the CL casual forums.

I think this whole thread was started just to rabble rouse as it's really a non-issue.

Hugs,
TS Jamie :-)

and He/She is totally hot!
That said Marina tells me that I would be surprised about how many "straight" men like
to have tits on their backs and a dikc in their ass.

Yeppers!

I have been there when her phone was ringing off the HOOK.

Loads of Trannies make LOADS of COINS!

Personally I would not want to knowingly have
sex with a man who had sex with a man because
of the germ factor with the cross over.

But it is more likely, then not that I have in the past, slept with a man who has slept with a man.

What are you gonna do huh?
GET another rubber, march on and pretend it is not happening and see the Doc often.

I get a blood test every 3 months. So far, Soooo good.

I wish folks could feel free to be honest with their sexuality.  It would make everything much safer because we would not be phucking under false pretense.

Think of how many men withhold this information in monogomas relationships and have sex without a condom and without the truth, with someone they "love".  YiKes!

Heck Maddy cannot even spell monogamus?
MONO GAME US!!!! That is how it should be spelled.

Maddy

Having several gay and bi-sexual friends, I agree with Jamie about some of the comments here. I personally have no interest in male escorts, so it makes no difference to me, one way or the other, but to say that "anyone" doesn't belong here is a little short minded. (This, of course excludes wackos and predators, and the like)
