From what I have observed, providers who brag (ie: notably about their modeling career but not limited to) tend to out themselves, accidentally or intentionally, much much quicker than other providers who brag less.  

Have you noticed how some escorts who model and managed to get their photos on some biker, swimsuit, or nude magazines always have to mention that and tend to volunteer to give you more? Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed that they got what it takes to be in some biker magazine or whatever. The problem is, most of the time they will share too much with you in their never-ending bragging of "Look at me, I'm a fucking model!". Sometimes the photos they share with you contain 'tags' or the name of their photographer. These tid bits lead to her real info, facebook profile, twitter, and even entire background. Remember, this is taking place at a point in time where we are still just getting acquainted.

Did the client instantly become a trustworthy best friend of hers the day she met him and she trusted him so much? Or is it more likely that it was her ego getting the best of her where showing off was more important than laying low?  

Bonus Question: If they don't care all that much about being discreet how do you think they handle our personal information?

There's some weird shit that goes on. I'm dishing out less and less information as I go along. I have a couple friends I am willing to share with, but I'm starting to really back off on whom I tell what.

Lots of people here laugh when a woman lies about her profession to others and to their fellow providers, but I don't think we should be honest to anyone when it comes to personal info. That's like kneeling down at the feet of those who mock, giving them all the information they ask for and need to ruin us, just so they'll think we're honest or not arrogant. I used to so that shit. Fuck that, sorry. If you just dished out so-and-so's information, but in the same sentence said you don't like drama and never gossip, all the while asking me questions about my life and family? Hell naw. Used to feel bad when I hurt people's feelings by withholding general info, now I've seen all.

No thanks, I've heard too many stories and even had shit blasted about me (truth AND lies) from sharing my heart with trusted "friends" (who open the relationship with a 5 to 7 minute speech on why they're not like other providers (as if providers are bad) and how trustworthy they are. At least until you piss them off lol. Then you're the one they go to your competition, "Can I just vent?" Which to me means, "I really want to say something shitty about this other provider but I have to keep your trust, so you'll think after a week of knowing you that I trust you enough to confide in you with confidential information."  

Well, if you share anything with anyone who isn't held accountable by legal ramifications, guess what? It's public. And people actually spend time trying to figure thus stuff out. More to ruin you than to do any good whatsoever.

People also forget that outing a provider doesn't only hurt her. It hurts numerous people and causes blame and loss where blame and punishment isn't due. (Family and friends.)

This danger/issue isn't only present in this job. Its everywhere. People complain that the world is shitty, but turn around and do shitty things.

If you didn't think hard about whether or not bad could come out of something, you're guilty of the harm that comes out of outing them.

Women live with their children, husbands, extended family, whatever. You out them for working in the sex industry, better bet you just outed and greatly endangered their families.

You've figured out that information can be pulled out of pics posted on the Inet or sent via email. Other than that, I'm not sure what your point is.  

Maybe they don't know they're leaking information. Or maybe they do know and don't care. More relevant question would be: why do you care? Are you trying to save them? They may be sharing due to ego. Then again that could, conceivably, be said about anyone sharing anything to market themselves professionally.  

If you happen to run across any of these little 'tidbits', (which, well, you can't just run across without actively looking for them), you can either discreetly let her know that you've been digging into her online presence and you've figure out some bit of personal info about her (don't be surprised if that creeps her out just a little bit).  

Or, just go about your own business.
