I have never gotten ripped off once in 2 years.  I never ask for the money up front.  Maybe I'm lucky, but I like to not even think about that when both are just getting to know each other.  
Watch, tomorrow I'll get ripped off LOL

You mean you have never had a client try to go through with a session without paying only to do that pat-down "I left my money in the car I'll be right back" game?   It will happen eventually, unfortunately.  :(

Nope, never.  Maybe I'm scary muhahahahaha.  

Some have almost forgotten to pay me, but they always seem to catch it before I have to mention anything.  Talking money to me feels tacky.  Just me though, not asking to be flamed for my feelings LOL  

Maybe I'm lucky, who knows.

I dont always pay up front, but I don't get offended if someone asks me. I would prefer they dont have to ask though, so with someone new I usually proffer the cash. With someone I have seen several times and have a relationship of sorts, I typically leave something afterward.

And I have never tried to skip without paying, so I generally have pretty good credit. Did I mention I have an honest face?

IMHO I think a provider who either asks you to place an envelope on the dresser/armoire or waits until the end of the session to discuss those things shows a lot of CLASS!

In California I tend to ask up front, In Las Vegas I wait until the end...go figure. :0)

I follow a pretty strict set of policies and rules to prevent myself from getting ripped-off.

And I don't get ripped-off, but not paying up-front isn't one of those rules. It's within the ability of the gentleman to know whether he's going to be ripped-off, before he walks into the agreement. The lady doesn't have that same ability.

This business is unique in so many respects that mandate a pay, before play, system.

1) There is typically no manager to appeal to if you don't like the service.

2) It's feeling-based and entirely subjective, whether the service was adequate.

3) In a one-on-one confrontation, the guy has a greater potential to win through intimidation.

4) Gentlemen are kind and respectful and giving when they're trying to get laid, by instinct. They are not so much, right after they've gotten laid.

5) Many men who are attracted to this activity are not at all gentlemen. (unfortunately)

I respect the ladies who are confident enough to accept payment at the end, but I'll bet real money that they follow some serious screening procedures as well.

How can either of you know the answer to that question for sure? For the sake of discusion you always get payment up front and 10% of your clients leave tips.  How do you know that if you waited until the end of the session to get paid that 20% of your clients would not leave tips.

I do not know how either of you can answer that question unless you have done a rather extensive test where you tried it both ways.
