Are there providers who are selective in which hobbiest they'll see.  Personally, I'd prefer to be turned down by a provider if she found me not to her liking (too young/old, fat/thin, dull/wild...).  If she is not into it, the experience suffers for the hobbiest as well.  

One may argue that such an approach would be bad for business, but some providers only work twice a week (and have other activities such as school) and could afford to be selective.

I always try to make it a point to build a repoir (sp) with the gents who ask to see me. Either on the phone or thru e-mail. That way I can get an idea if we "click" on some level.

I guess that makes me somewhat selective. I have had a couple of gentlemen ask to see me and I found over the course of corespondance that there was just nothing there and, not to sound selfish, I want it to be a fullfilling experience for me also. I chose not to see them and offered up advice in hopes they would find someone else that might be perfect for them.

Honestly the physical and age aspect means nothing to me. I had a fella who was 29 and GQ gorgeous want to book some time and it was horrible. He was rude, arrogant and had no sense of humor. Yet I saw a gent in his 50's..shorter than I and mediocre at best in the looks dept. I honestly would not have given him a second look if I passed him on the street. But after an incredible dinner, cognac and desert, I wanted him in that room in the worst way. He was funny, smart, adventurous and for me those are the biggest turn ons.

Age, weight, nationality, ect. are not what makes me selective, Class, grace, intelligence and the ability to laugh are the things that do.

You are so right on the money.  I would hope that a provider might be that forthright with me.  On the other side of the scale, I have spent time on the phone with a prospective provider, and for many of Lass' reasons, I have thanked her for their time on the phone, and elected not to book time because I didn't think we'd click.

as I would want the gent to tell me he wasn't quite comfortable with the situation so we can end both our misery after all we are all adults and not expected to click with everyone.  I always fear hurting someones feelings so instead I just don't work as often as I should for fear of a bad experience
