And that is not directed at the girls who post here, for the most part, but to the twitter super "woke" and burnt out types who feel the need to talk down to their current/future clientele re: such matters on an all too frequent basis.

 
Your points were on mark, equally made to both the guys and girls and full of common sense. Normally this would be a NB topic but since there could be so many new peeps to p4p since TER came back online, this is the perfect place for it.

Our business runs on references. It would be so great when a client provides references if you could include the contact info of the women . It saves us time and allow us to get back to you sooner. Also for the ladies out there if you are asking me to provide a reference on client of yours i would appreciate you including the link to your website. I wont provide references unless i have confidence that the person asking is legit. Again it will save time and allow me to get back to you faster.  

I keep good notes and i do my best to get back to request ASap

Great post Adeline, not a single insult directed at the inconsiderate people who waste your time in your entire post, not a hint of a rant, not a hint of hating your clients or sister providers, to borrow a VERY overused term, but one that certainly applies here, CLASSY POST Adeline.

require that a person asking to meet them give at least one or more references complete with email and website URL, and I am absolutely fine with that.   It shouldn't be her job to ferret all this stuff out when the guy probably has all this info on hand anyways.

To go one step further, a client should contract the provider he plans to list and ask their permission for them to list them as a reference, and also tell them who the provider is that they are requesting to see.

And to add my voice to the others, great post A.
