If you consider only the physical, it could be said that it gets worse, meaning that at some point the relied upon response from your body can't be relied upon any more. It varies from guy to guy, but one's general health is definitely the primary determining factor. When it gets to the point a guy is slow to react, loses erections, or even just doesn't have that rock hard edge anymore, it's a clue other things are going on. If you want a number, I'd say 55 or so, though the variance is wide. Factor in drinking, smoking, being overweight, or having a sedentary or stressful lifestyle, and the number goes down, and it goes down quickly. ED drugs may or may not help. They do not work for every guy, and not at all for some.
On the non-physical side, attitude is everything. When one begins to grasp they are not immortal anymore, and that "All good things must end", it can prompt lifestyle changes that effect more than just one's love life. Losing the weight, dropping the cigs, and sometime even changing out of a stressful career path, are often the result of introspection based on (in part) intimate encounters as life events. I think too that the desire to pursue "the next score" wains as the aggression/assertiveness level recedes. What one wants, misses, and values is certainly dependent on age-related attitudes. Even if you still can, and it's still fun, it doesn't always represent what it once did. When you realize that it will all someday end, that "bucket list" comes to the forefront and you begin to chip away at it with a passion.

All I find online is subjective things like it just gets worse.. But can people here give specific examples at age 30, 40, 50, etc. what happens to your performance? I am not looking for exceptions, but the rule, i.e the "average" of all your performances at these milestones?
